I am seriously thinking I should move to Utah. Without going into a long discriptive reason why. And if you have read some of my posts you'ld know why. Untop of the fact that Ytah seems to be full of swingers that are healthy. I can't seem to find work in my home area of PA. You would think that a 30 year old cook,with ServeSafe and Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Food Safety and Laboritory Services certifications. Would be able to find a job real easy. And I have seen people get promoted to resaurant management for a lot less. In fact I worked at a Chi-Chi's a couple years back. And was asked to train for management by the district and regional managers. While I was training one of the pot head cooks got his waitress girl friend pregnant. They promoted him as soon as they found out. Maybe, I'm not getting the jobs I want because I'm open about swinging. Add to that I am 30 years old and single. Maybe I'm single cause I'm open about swinging. Eitherway I am in a bad situation and it needs to change. Pretty soon the bank is going to reposess my truck. And that will leave me screwed.

Interesting discussion. Certainly from a relationship standpoint the classic definition of cheating is being with someone other than your partner physically and/or emotionally. As swingers, however, we often hold ourselves above others and fall back on the lying and/or sneaking around aspect. Personally I feel that being dishonest with the person you hold most dear in this life to be the essence of cheating for me. When information is withheld you take away that person's prerogative to choose whether or not to stay in the relationship with you based on your actions outside of the relationship. There are a million ways people rationalize cheating. I find that a person's attitude towards cheating is a very good litmus test for the depth of their character. Now should we talk about cheating on a test or cheating other people out of their hard earned money? How about cheating on your taxes or at a poker game with friends? At what point DOES cheating become morally reprehensible or should it be "all's fair in love and war" and "every man (or woman) for himself"? Or as SIRNEWBY asserts, is self deception/lying/cheating really the only valid metric? Or did I misunderstand your point, SN? It would be interesting to get feedback from people (I'm sure there are plenty) who've been cheated on.

Look up swinging..Google, Yahoo..whatever..and read as many definitions as you can find..there are many facets to the lifestyle, not just yours. And just because something isnt "fun" to You doesnt mean it might not be fun to someone else. Maybe the idea of full swap isnt fun to this couple that posted this topic, ever thought of that?

New to the swingers community - is age a factor in how a couple is viewed? -
As we all know that there are a lot of people out there that don't act there age. Most people have comfort levels of age groups that they are comfortable with, we for the most part don't try to judge people by there age but do try to limit ourselves to people older than our kids for obvious reasons and not as old as our parents for the same reasons.

One of the things that we have noticed is that most swing sites do not have anything set up for swingers in other countries. If a site can be set up for each state in the US then why not for each country on each continent? There are many couples who travel to various locations around the world for vacations and it would be nice to know something of the local swinging scene. By broadening this web site to include international customers would that not also increase the profitability of the site? More customers means more cash flow. Postal codes work the world over for sending and receiving mail...these same (ZIP) codes could be used for country location. Just a thought from a happy clam :) happyclam469

We are not a "friends first" couple but the attraction has to be there personality-wise too. We totally agree about friendships in the lifestyle. We didn't enter it to make a bunch of new friends but wow, some of our best friends are swingers. What a great, unexpected benefit!
Most of the people we are friends with we have not fucked. For some the personality attraction is there, for others the physical... and we need both. We even have some friends that are physically attractive to us, have personalities that make us very good friends, yet the sexual chemistry just seems awkward for whatever reason.
Another odd observation of ours has been that a less physically attractive person becomes very attractive an fuckable with the right personality, but a very physically attractive person is sexually repulsive to us if they are an asshole.
We have probably slept with less than 10% of our close friends in the swing community. Everyone we did play with did not end up a friend but not because we didn't like them. Sometimes it's just a matter of not having time to build a relationship and friendship not being a pre-requisite for us.
I guess, long story short, for us to fuck you we need to like you, but just because we like you doesn't mean we will end up being friends... if any of that makes sense to anyone but us. lol.
