Yeah, ya know, I wouldn't take much to heart when it comes to comments from Utah in regard to anything racial...this is about the Whitest State in the US.
I honestly think that a lot of folks feel threatened by Single Males. Perhaps they've forgotten that they've been single? Forgot what that's like, maybe. Or maybe they were never single in this lifestyle. It's a tough crowd for a party of one.
I'm lucky enough to have been a single male in this lifestyle a couple of times. It taught me A LOT! I simply filled a niche and had a blast (and wasn't really lacking play...due to the niche).
And then there's Don...oye. Man, I'll send Ms. K_T over to drill a hole in the bottom of that bottle Don. We'll get it outta there in no time!

We were really hoping to go but Father's Day activities for an elderly father whose health isn't good looks like they will prevent us from attending. There IS, however, an event listing on the homepage and it looks like a LOT of really hot, sexy couples will be attending. And the fact that it's for a good cause makes it a no-brainer for anyone who wants to do something fun and meet a lot of sexy people tonight. [em]Emo_54[/em]

Picking the right group of people to swing with is a very important part of the lifestyle. I avoid groups that don't know and apply swing etiquette. Rule ONE...No means NO! Rule TWO...No one should touch or kiss another without permission. I'm sure we all have encountered people that don't know the rules (or get so drunk they forget them) but I encourage an optimistic attitude and careful networking to find the swingers you are compatible with.

Not sure that would work so well: we went to Hedo 2 and were surprised by how many vanilla's there were there. After a few days, we took to breaking the ice by asking if they "were on any lifestyle sites?" or if they "had their profile posted anywhere as a couple".
Being that we were at Hedo, we were obviously not afraid of offending anyone (it is Hedo after all!), but it quickly let us know what their status was. Even still, the couples we ended up hanging out the most with were non-swingers.

P.S. Oh, and then we had my college friend who, when we told we were going to Jamaica, asked if we were going to "that Hedo3". 90% sure he is vanilla.

Ours is a holdover from the "Dubya" years. He frequently talked about certain people and groups as "evildoers" and we were talking about it one night in bed after a swing party and decided that he would probably think that we, as swingers, were also evildoers. Right then and there we decided to change our screen name.
The REALLY funny thing is that a number of years ago there was a thread started by someone who claimed that if you put your Swingular screen name into Google it would, like, bring up your profile or pics from your profile or whatever. When we decided to try it, the very first pic it brought up was a pic of Dubya and his cabinet. [em]Emo_49[/em]

Just an idea. Even the wife and I have talked about this. When we first started in the L/S back in NC. We went to hotel Parties. Then a cpl from FL baught a house just for swinger parties. They didnt live there just opened it up on sat. for swingers. It was privite house so you didnt have to worry about cops and you could pretty much do as you like. We had a good time at the V but did not like the fact that on the dance floor there was a wall of guys just stairing you down. I know Ut has its own rules. Lets just get a house. :) for us all to meet.
