So who all caught the first episode? -
We had a ton of fun doing the show and it was very unscripted. They would of course plan the games etc, but what happened, happened. Nothing was forced as far as interaction. What you DONT see on the show is the hours of sitting around and answering the newbies questions and making them understand the mindset and how we live life. In fact, they actually did a good job at minimizing the drama and making a very comfortable situation for all.
The funniest part of the show was actually the crew...they came in with a lot of pre-conceived notions about swingers and by the end of taping we had made some great friends and their minds had changed dramatically about the lifestyle and the people in it. In fact we kept joking about interviewing them and getting their feedback.
Kudos to PBOYTV for showing our lifestyle in a very positive light.!

I agree with what lookin4fun369 says, but you also need to be prepared to be approached by couples if you venture out into the event space.
What you're looking for based on your profile is the same thing that the majority of swingers are also keeping an eye out for... The elusive unicorn. Yes these magical creatures do exist, but they are difficult to corral. There are many that can be found behind the lcd of your computer screen, but to actually entice one into a dinner date, followed up with play time can be seemingly impossible at times! In fact... We had one completely disappear after making a dinner date just hours before this very night!!! Yes... We had communicated for several days and she made the arrangements... Only to disappear in a trail of glitter.
Do not be discouraged, as your quest will certainly take you on the adventure of a lifetime... But keep in mind... Sometimes it's the journey, not the destination that the excitement lies.

OMG, you read my mind! Yes, sadly there are flakes in every walk of life and the fun part is trying to decide who is and isn't a flake. Unfortunately, once swinging went digital, the cost to play went WAY down. I'm not talking about the monthly fee you pay to Swingular. I'm talking about the ease with which someone can hide behind their 'puter and pretend to be something they are not.
Back in the day (grab your Rolodexes kiddies), to meet other swingers you usually had to buy a swinger magazine with ads in it, rent a P.O. box, take some naughty Polaroids and send off a bunch of snail mail. It was WAY too much work for someone who just gets their jollies punking people. Sure there were still flakes, but the amount of effort people had to put in just to CONNECT with other couples made flakes far less ubiquitous.
I mean for all you know now, the people who didn't show up for drinks at Applebees wasn't a hot, sexy couple but, in reality, a 600-pound transvestite defrocked pedophile priest with a ferret fetish. You probably totally dodged a bullet when he didn't have the guts to show up! [em]Emo_84[/em]
