Church Swingers, are they out there? - - I myself, believe that things such as religion (or spiritualality if you prefer) and sexuallity are a personal thing. I think the comments made by SHRED sum it up rather nicely. Having studied religion for 12 years in the catholic school system it seems that most of the organized religions I have any knowledge of, have lost the real point made in the New Testament anyway. It seems often that what is being preached is not what is being practiced or in some cases things have been taken out of context to stress some point of faith or morallity in a distorted way. I personally can not believe that God would want us to live our lives this way. I have to agree with those who say "live and let live" or "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". That seems to be the message I got out of all that religious instruction, but not necessarily what I saw being practiced. To those who feel they can balance religious practice with this lifestyle, I would say do so if it works for you. It is your personal choice. and thats the way it should be. New Swingers Club in Utah - Gauging interest in new club - All, we've been trying to explore this idea for over a decade and there are many legal challenges. There is a public indecency law, even for private clubs. If you have a legal license, and you accept any amount of money, you fall within this law. Trust us, we've been trying to figure this out ourselves as we've been wanting to create something. Right now, the safest avenues are private mansion parties and legal lifestyle friendly and/or off-premise clubs which we are starting to explore. Single Guy Rant - Probably not for everybody - So I'm thinking, how bad must I look at 51?!? And another thing, how could I possibly meet someone out of the lifestyle whom I may introduce to swinging? I have found that the biggest issue with non-swingers is sex. Swingers dying out? - Is the utah swinger community dying or becoming to needy? - We feel quite the opposite. We've been on swingular for 15 days now. Swinging/Polyamory - I just wanted to hear other people thoughs on this....... - I agree on the difference between swinging and poly relationships. Both have their advantages at times, and their disadvantages. They are separate things, not to be intertwined, as some ppl do. Just like some swingers will do only certain things, I think that poly has many different ways to make it work, you just have to find the right ppl to be in that type of relatioship with. I would think it would be hard to combine swinging and a poly relationship, but then I have not really tried it. Being a single female, I either get contacted by single or married guys wanting a good time, or usually some guy wanting a second female for his "harem". (Sorry guys, but just cause we are in Utah does not mean women won't want a 'harem' too! IMO).
