real members? - - CYBER SWINGERS strike again! We had the same thing happen to us although we only drove 2 hrs this cpl must have exchanged 40 messages with us over a 3 month period they were so excited to meet us in person we showed they didn't! They were supposeably traveling to Florida on vacation we called them on the cell only got a voice mail and never heard from them again! We wish people would just be HONEST when we say we willbe someplace for a meeting we are there or we call before hand to say something has come up never leave a cpl wondering. its a fact of life in this lifestyle we simply try to make the best of it like that night we sat there enjoyed a drink and watched this beautiful blond sing and play the piano then we simply drove home and laughed and said "NEXT"! We have learned to not take the lifestyle too serious its ashame some people continue to play these petty mindgames but we know its a fact in this lifestyle. Ever want to visit North Florida look us up we WILL show up. Norm&Sharon

A Place In The Lifestyle - - Well, It sounds more like a Utah club. We do not have swinger clubs here. Unless the club wishes to work at keeping people that are not in the lifestyle out, you may have to find another way to determine the swinging couples. Maybe the swinger wrist bands are a good idea at that club to identify others in the lifestyle. It would take some work on your part talking with those you may already know are in the lifestyle. You may not wish to wear them other places but it would solve a lot of problems for you in the club. Now the other question of who belongs is very difficult to answer. A lot of swingers do not swing very often or with very many others. So I see little difference between meeting one lifestyle or the other. As long as you are comfortable with your lifestyle, and asking another person if they are in the lifestyle, I do not see how you can lose. In Utah the chances are always slim that anyone will say yes straight away if they do not already know you. I would say that since it is a swinger club you have a greater chance than we do here at finding people in the lifestyle and you might even find some converts.

Do you mix your vanilla and lifestyle friends? - - We tell anyone who is a late night friend, ie: serious friend, vanilla or not that we have an alternative lifestyle. It has made things so much easier. Our vanilla friends are closer. We make it very clear that we don't have any interest in sex with them for concerns about ruining what is a already a good relationship. I am not talking, work vanillas, they don't need to know. I am talking about people with whom we go dancing or bar hopping. Why lie about who you really are? The whole reason for jumping the hurdle that is the "lifestyle" is to be free with who you really are. Then you are supposed to hide it with people who are supposed to really care about you? Nope. Because of this, it is really cute when we throw a party or get together. The vanillas spend the whole time excitedly trying to guess who the swingers are. Most of the time it doesn't take much to guess. This reminds me of what got us started on this course. We threw a mostly vanilla roller skating party with some vanilla friends. They invited a whole bunch of people and we invited a whole bunch of people. We invited 3 couples who were swingers who did not know or probably didn't care to hide what they were. The vanilla couple invited once swinger couple totally unaware that they were swingers. We got very outed that night. lol It went really well so it carried over as a "good idea". Piper

Swinging with Vanillas - Any success stories? - I know this probably won't be a very popular point of view but I kind of have a problem with vanilla hunting. If you meet some vanillas and talk to them, hell tell them you are swingers or whatever, and they're interested and then you leave it there and they have time to go home and consider what you've told them and make a sober rational decision then great. Where the line becomes blurred to me is approaching vanillas in say a bar situation where there is plenty of alcohol or whatever and then sort of guiding (pushing?) them into a situation where they might not be thinking completely rationally. I think the majority of us probably approached swinging from the perspective of making a conscious decision to try it out or whatever before we were put in a situation where sexual play might happen. I just think it's only fair for others to have that same consideration "space", if you will, before they jump into something they might not be ready to handle. Swinging is great. We have an awesome little hobby that is DEFINITELY NOT for everyone, no matter how much we think it should be. The truth is very few people can actually handle the intense dynamics of swapping spouses. JMO

How to identify yourself as a Swinger - -
Upside down pineapple ?? lol i dont get that at all.....
Early on, when looking into swinging, I visited another forum. A couple posted a picture of themselves with the caption, "We did it!" Their shirts were off and they were facing away from the camera. A few people posted that they didn't get it. The OP explained that they got upside down pineapples tattooed on their backs so other swingers would know they were in the lifestyle. No one knew what they were talking about. It was sad cause at first they joked that it was a well known sign, but person after person chimed in that they had never heard of it. Some people who had been in the lifestyle over ten years said they'd never heard of it. After a while they stopped trying to convince people and then stopped responding. It was pretty sad.

Swinger Bracelets - Swinger bracelets - honestly what needs to be done is yes the bracelets and no matter what your not going to make everyone happy. OK the number is fine to say hey were swingers instead of colors why not have a 1 threw 5 and put it in a circle to separate it from the other numbers one being beginners and 5 being all out who really cares about the fact if your bi or single cuz if you catch on to the bracelet then you can just discreetly ask

C- A - Any swingers clubs around Salt lake? -
We should start to all go to redemption in Herriman on like Friday nights - All Singers should wear “PURPLE” and show up after 10:00 pm - We’ll all know who is in the Lifestyle !!!
Why purple?!? Because it's and ugly color that no normal person would ever wear out in public?

Anything but Habits?! - Chill Hangouts? - Habits is a fun club, and we've tried it out a few times, but we're not really into the club scene. We like to chill, play pool, drink beer, talk and listen to rock and roll.... is there any swingers places like this? Help!!!

Swingers In Uniform - Pay your memorial day respects here. - I joined the United States Air Force by my own will. I joined after I thought long and hard about spending years of my life dedicated to something other than myself. I decided that I do love the freedoms that have and I am willing to make sure they stay that way. Noone decided this for me, I am not mindless, I am educated, and I am a member of mensa. Not every war has to be fought on American soil to have a pure purpose. DJQ, you have the ability to not only work and pay your bills, feed yourself, acquire material posessions(including the computer you make your posts on), and you have the right to your opinion. All of these things are possible because of a country, however flawed, that stands up for what it feels is right. I'm willing to bet that ANY number foreign nationals would love to trade places with you right now. When you put your own self needs away for a short moment and realize, like so many post before mine have said, there are families without fathers and mothers because they fought for something bigger than themselves, we, you and I, are not that important in the grand scheme of things. Young men and women, some as young as 18 years of age, are sleeping in tents, eating food from plastic bags, and waiting for the next mortar round to hit nearby, because they were asked too. Many of whom probably do not agree with their situation, but realize that they are their, giving of themselves for a greater good. These people deserve at the very least a soft thank you once a year. DJQ, you are intitled to your opinion, no one will force you to believe something else like the days of inquisition. But please, for all those who have given of themselves, past and current, have just a shred of decency and gratitude that you are able to live the life you have. I'm not telling you to believe the same way I do, opposing sides is part of what makes this country great, just dont take for granted the things that were given to you without expectation of repayment. I am PROUD to have served in the United States Air Force. I served dilligantly during desert storm in support of all the marines and soldiers who were on the ground, my brothers. I thank all of those who have given of themselves to make sure our country continues helping the needy, and protecting those who need it. I salute all of you, commissioned or not. Mr2
