Swingers dying out? - Is the utah swinger community dying or becoming to needy? - I'm guessing whether you think things are dying out, is a matter of peperspective. If you have a certain kind of couple you are looking for and want to meet someone new every weekend, I'm guessing the well will run dry quickly.
We have very little time, so even meeting a few people here and there can be tough to schedule.
I see events, parties and booty calls listed all the time...add in the messages, friend requests (which are usually useless), and new people joining (whom you can choose to say hi to or not), and honestly, I'm not sure how anyone has time for it all to the point of saying the swing scene is dying. Guess we're just too new to remember the good old days. But as far as we can tell, there are a lot of nice, fun people to get to know...and simply not enough time to.

Yeah, i point this out every time this is brought up. As soon as the secret hand shake is out, it becomes useless.
I heard about the black ring, upside down pine4, flamingo, and white rocks almost twenty years ago, before I ever dreamt of considering swinging. (I keep seeing people say it was created recently, but it has been around for a long time).
Thing is, you can think you've got some kind of secret code, or secret meeting place, but the public already knows.
But if people want to wear black rings, I say go for it. Unfortunately, I still have to value discretion, so advertising of any kind in public won't be happening any time soon.

I do not pretend to know, but have personally met MANY, MANY a Mormon couple (online in chat anyway) in the "lifestyle".....We have wondered how this relates to them religiously and personally.....Of course, we do not judge and will never judge someone's motives for swinging, just were curious how they justify swinging with their religion. VERY good point! We would not be real comfortable with this, either...however, we do support a lot of different rides sponsered by a lot of different groups we personally are not part of...so guess we could always pass off any questions in that manner..But, it would be nice if it wasn't really advertised as sposered by a swinger group. You're right, I think the media would jump on it..JUST for that reason!
