Party Group for Non-Redheads - Wouldn't such a group without such flaws be great? - {Warning...this is a goofy parody, not to be taken seriously!!! Warning for the seriousness police!! We've been in this lifestyle awhile, have attended some parties and would like to throw a question out there for debate. Not to get anyone's panties all in a wad by golly, just as a debate of general interest. Yeah, a debate for fun. I like to party with only those folks that I find extremely attractive--you know, those folks that look like me. To that end, I was wondering what you folks thought about starting a group where only non-redheads are invited? Mind you, I've nothing against those redheaded swingers out there, I'm sure they're fine folks. It's just that I find tanned bodies to be much healthier appearing and, lets be honest, redheads don't tan -- they burn. And when we have beach parties it really pains me to see all these redheads slathering on tanning solution yet still burning. Ouch, I can just do without that vision. I feel bad for them, I have great sympathy for their condition. Plus, redheads tend to have lots of freckles. I'm sure that SOME people find freckles to be attractive, just not me. There's nothing wrong with freckles though, I guess. What do you all think? Should we create such a party group to exclude these freckled folk so that we don't all have to play Rorschach games trying to decipher if all those freckles connected represent anything? Oh sure, I could have just created a group or a party event and simply stated my preferences and given information as to how to join my group or party and how to prove to me that you're not a redhead. I've every right to do that and, seeing that we all have our PERSONAL preferences, I believe most folks here would be very supportive of that. But I thought it'd be much more fun to have a public discussion as to the majorities feelings about the "redheaded" look and whether there was an overall agreement that such a non-redheaded party would be popular. NOT to belittle the redheads, mind you, just to have a frank and open discussion. Isn't that what this forum is for, to discuss peoples' physical features that they can't possibly change? Couples Copulating - How the hell do ya match up? - We must be very lucky I guess. We've only been around since April and we strictly play with couples or a group. Both the guy and gal need to be accepted by both of us, and yes it's a hard combo to find. Even in a group situation we need to feel ok with EVERYONE involved. So for us that has meant we go to A LOT of parties and put ourselves out there and meet people. Because of that we have had several foursomes and even a couple eightsomes, and some of those have been repeats too. As we have met people we've found that we're actually doing pretty good as new swingers because we've found that a lot of people who play with only couples don't get to play too often. So we say try to get out a little more. It's numbers, the more you're out then the more chances you'll find exactly the combo you're looking for. We haven't compromised ourselves yet (taken one for the team) and don't plan on it. Your combo is out there, just gotta keep looking. How far are you willing to travel ? - - We've had kisses blown to us and I will generally answer with a note but have, as yet, not received our first answer. Most are quite far away and their profile, like yours says that you would like to be friends and hang out with as well as..... (Not exactly what you said but that's what I got out of your profile) If people are like us, we would travel up to 1 to 1.5 hours to meet or to play because that, to us, is a reasonable distance to have a friendship. If we were to meet someone at one of the clubs that we belong to, and became friends we might travel farther/further. If one believes that to travel a greater distance than would be practicle for friendship then that distance would set the limit. On the other hand, if a couple is out strictly for the sexual encounter and has no expectation or wish for friendship then maybe a stop over in a city on the other side of the country might not be out of the question... If someone sends a kiss and the couple respond it would be nice if that couple would acknowledge receipt of a note. Just common courtesy. On another site we have been invited, by a number of folks, to stop by if we ever get in the area for drinks, dinner, play what have you,,,simply because we participate in forums and we may send a note about their profile or their pictures or both... So ultimately it depends on the couples involved.. If someone were to cum here for a week or more and wish to meet and see what happens then that might be an acceptable situation. That doesn't mean they swing, it simply means they have (at some point in their marriage) agreed that it would be okay to have sex outside of their marriage on at least one occasion. This number seems pretty high to me, especially in Utah. (Bordering on ridiculous, actually). So somewhere between these two numbers is the truth... 500 couples in Utah have a Swingular account, and by some (very liberal) estimations, as many as 35,000 couples in Utah are non-monogamous. Let's assume, for the sake of argument, that there are 3,000 couples in Utah who are actively interested in swinging. (Again, I have SERIOUS doubts that the number is that high, based on data I've collected from Swingular... but let's roll with it)... There are 886,000 couples in Utah, which means there's a 0.33% chance (1 in 300) that the couple you're looking at are swingers. However, if the number of ACTIVE swinging couples in Utah is closer to 1,000 (far more likely), the odds go down to 0.11% (1 in 1,000). This is probably a more realistic picture of your odds when you try to pick up a random couple in the wild. 1 in a thousand isn't out of the question..... but unless you're prepared to be very blunt, it's probably not worth wasting your time on, either. Just my two cents. =)
