Tired of Politics and Religion! - - Quack quack ;) There is a reason why there are many categories on the front page for forum topics. It's called diversity. Something that many so-called swingers claim to hold as a tenet of their lives. So...in theory, there is a little something for everyone. Perhaps ADMINISTRATOR should add an additional category to the list and call it "JUST FOR THE SAKE OF WHINING". I'm certain that this thread would be very apropos for that category. "Can't Say No" Party - Who'd be interested in coming? - Mrs LPA69 and I have been talking about hosting a "Can't Say No" party at our home in Lindon UT. The idea comes from when we were investigating some foreign swingers clubs. There was one in South Africa that advertised a "can't Say No" room. If you went into the room, you could not turn down a request from someone else in the room, unless their request would be a health hazard (eg bareback intercourse). The idea intrigued us both (okay, me more than her, but she likes the idea). If we host such a party, it would be a little different from the South Africa swingers club. We suggest that it work this way. 1. We would have 10 couples maximum come to our house. We would advertise the party to everyone on Swingular, because it would be fun to have some couples we didn't know in attendance, just to make it more exciting. 2. We'd take a little time to drink, snack, and mingle while we were getting to know everyone else a little. During the mingle time, the two in each couple could talk about who they were interested in or not. 3. The women would all get together in private, and discuss amongst themselves who they were each willing to play with, what they were willing to do, etc. 4. Everyone would get back together, and for the next hour or so, each woman would tell her man what to do with whom, and the man could not say no. 5. After a break, the men would all get together in private, and discuss who they were each willing to play with, what they were willing to do, etc. 6. The party could be as wild as those in attendance wanted to make it. You'd have to really trust your own partner, wouldn't you? We'd like to know how many of you couples would be interested in that kind of party. The earliest we could host it would be New Year's Eve (or maybe in January), but we'd like to get an idea now as to the interest level. L&P

Political Forum - POLL: Should we bring it into the rotation? - I think its quite cool that a rather large group of people find relatively common interests about sexual openness, sexual play, sexual fantasy etc... it's really cool that we share such an uncommon attitude about sex and yet we have such diverse opinions about Politics (and Religion) etc. Fascinating. Years ago before I knew anything about or anyone involved in swinging I would have guessed that there would have been a more common social thread among swingers but as was mentioned before, its probably a pretty good cross section... So, it seems to me that if we are trying to connect at a fun playful sexual level the last thing we would want to do is find ways to disagree and reasons to disconnect from people by having a special "top five" forum category that is one of the 2 most divisive topics on the planet. It's tough enough to find couples that we connect with at enough levels to be play-friends. So, I'd say, there are plenty of other places to fight about politics (or religion), we don't need it here and since you are asking for opinions here's mine: If you leave it in there will be some well thought out points made but it will be a source of argument, anger, and name calling... we've seen it before, just like anywhere else, people get ugly here too. If you take it out only a few will miss it. There are other places, plenty of them, to debate the un-win-able debates. This is a play place, a fun safe place to escape the mundane and intolerant mainstreamers. We don't need to create ways to find intolerance and anger within this community too. I want to know how sexy and fun you are not what your politics are... Single male in this lifestyle.. - I have questions for couples and single females. - At the risk of restating for the millionth time... Cold hard truth time, JOSH. Single guys in the lifestyle are a dime a dozen (that's a really old fashioned way of saying there are a LOT of you). And believe it or not you all claim you're super spiffy dudes (you're not...not all of you anyway). If you all WERE super duper All American boy-next-door stud muffins you'd have girls falling all over you and we wouldn't be having this (single male) conversation for the bazillionth time. So let's do the math. There are a LOT of single guys in the lifestyle (despite some who would argue that singles aren't really swingers). There are fewer couples in the lifestyle and even fewer single ladies (again despite that 'swingles aren't swingers' argument). So even factoring in the fact that ALL swinger females are insatiable minxes who have sex almost continuously there just isn't enough time in the day for them to get around to fucking each and every single guy. Sorry, man. My advice to you, and you aren't gonna like it, is to take all those amazing qualities you possess and find a hottie of your own that you can go out into the wild world of swingdom and share with other people. Swinging really is a couple centric activity. There's a reason it used to be called "wife swapping" and people wearing like disco clothes and gold chains and stuff used to go to key parties. Can you imagine the chaos that would have ensued if a bunch of single guys threw their keys in the bowel at a key party? ps- If you'd rather not find a woman to swing with and prefer to keep your single male status my advice to you would be to grow a very thick skin, become more patient than a Buddhist monk and never ever ever come across as desperate or WORSE pissy that you don't feel like you're getting your fair share of hot swinger tail.

Stabbing at swingers party? - - A stabbing in Herriman over the weekend has the media reporting it was a "swingers party". I am assuming this is because as the news reports a few couples "got frisky" in the basement, causing several people to reportedly leave and return less than an hour later and stab the party's 22-year old host. The three suspects were all 20 to 22 years old, also. Does anyone know anything about this? Was it a vanilla party gone wrong in a drunken moment, causing some guys to get extremely jealous and now the media is blowing this up to be a "swingers" party? Or was it really a swingers party?
