thoughts on Pictures - - I have to agree that just a genital shot for an opener is not very good. But I have also seen face shots that look like mug shots and sure are not much more interesting. Come on, this is a SWINGERS site!!! After all the object is to promote our involvement in this lifestyle. Our profile and pics are supposed to tell something about us. My wife likes to pose, and I enjoy taking her pictures. We try to use pics that show how we feel, or how we want to be precieved in the lifestyle. We get lots of feed back telling how they like her smile, or how we look like a fun couple. It makes us feel good that people enjoy what we have to share with them.
Some people have no pics at all, others have one, or just a few dull shots, or the close up genital shots. Put something into your albums, and you will get more out of this site, and maybe this lifestyle. Thats my opinion.
Church Swingers, are they out there? - - I believe an important thing to remember here is to live and let live.
I just apply the "Don't talk about Religion...it can REALLY cause a fight." rule when engaged in the Lifestyle. (But I guess that's what I'm doing...heheheh.) I agree with some of the comments here. I study a LOT of religions (a hobby). And this lifestyle pretty much flies against most of them (10 commandments, you name it.)
So...do what feels good and don't try and hurt anyone. We're all here because we want to be. If you don't want to do this...then don't!

Why do they run? - Why do most couples run when you suggest a real full swap? - We would not go for that. And a couple with whom we play did that for awhile and it damned near wrecked their marriage. What you are talking about is very close to just plain cheating. Successful couples, swingers or vanilla, are generally inward looking, looking at one another to the exclusion of the world or back to back facing the world together. From our point of view, at least, swinging is merely an extension of sex for fun in which other people take the place of toys. We don\'t for one moment forget that they are people and not actually toys but in termns of our own relationship they are peripheral though they may also be good friends. To split as a couple so that each may go his or her own way later to regale the other with his or her exploits doesn\'t work. I don\'t want my wife to tell me about her antics with another man. I want to see her with another man.

I wasn't going to say swingers convention or put up a sign just a get together.
"LDS" Profile Names - - We used to be Mormons (Well, technically, Ms. Evil still is, I guess.). And we've know MANY swingers over the years who have been involved in recreational non-monogamy (A nice way to say committing adultery. LOL) as well as differing levels of activity in the LDS church.
We knew one couple a few years back who would party HARD on Sat. night and still be up early and in the pews every Sunday morning. Invariably they would text us every Sunday evening telling us that they were no longer going to swing...and then about Wednesday of every week they would text again asking us if there were any parties going on the next weekend. LOL It never really bothered us that they somehow justified or practiced some sort of cognitive dissonance when it came to the two activities since most people we know do the same thing but in differing areas of their lives.
One of several reasons we chose our screen name was to poke a little fun at ourselves for taking up wife swapping while we were still somewhat active Mormons. I think,perhaps, a more interesting question/topic isn't how many have "LDS" (or some other designation associated with Mormonism) in their screen names but how very many once staunch Mormons have felt a strong desire to flaunt the strict and onerous chastity laws of the Mormon church to actively participate in our little hobby. Swingular won't be too far behind (What is Utah, like 5 or 10 years behind the rest of the country? LOL) and even Kasidie will eventually succumb to the pressure of other types of media and even easier ways to connect with others. Additionally, many younger "swingers" are simply bypassing swinging altogether and just hooking up with other people without giving it a label or having any kind of formal community. *shrug*
In the meantime, Swingular has become more and more just a venue for people to peddle their services and/or place redundant "classified ads" seeking what they've already stated they're seeking in their profiles. LOL
