Wishbones - - I think this is a great idea! We once went to a local bar for a gathering of swingers (not a swingers bar), but didn't know the regular couples from the swingers and spent all night not approaching anyone and not being approached. Adulter or Swinger? - - I'll probably catch a lot of flack for what I'm about to say but here goes. SWINGING is or was started by servicemen in the late 50 and early 60's . Two MARRIED couples would SWAP wives for the night. Generally, the odd couples would repair to different rooms and play. The only thing sharred about it was that they had swapped... Then it progressed to parties and shoe parties or key parties and couples would go with the person whos shoe or keys they would get from the pile. I would also say that one could also say that that person is dating.... regardless of the sexual connotations. One thing to note here is that swinging has evolved to something more than recreational sex. It now has the connotation of friends or friendship involved. Exclusive in nature where each couple involved only has sex with their partner and with ONLY people who have agreed that they willl do the same... So cheating is the only cut and dried issue... Non consensual sex with other than ones own partner of a committed relationship. The rest is either dating or swinging/swapping... I'm sure we all knew this but it needs to be reiterated from time to time...

Too old ???? - - I am calling it the way we have seen it. We both started playing around in lifestyles just under 40 years ago. The computer and internet wasn't that big a help, you had to find people at bars and clubs and places couples were known to hang out. You really walked gently then but word didn't travel as fast so you could maintain anonymity much easier. With chat rooms on the net and websites just for lifestyles, it became easier to meet people but also required more caution. We had a blast meeting couples, making friends and exploring all kinds of lifestyle activities. Cyn was a doll and always being chased. I guess I wasn't too bad either since I was never left out. Under 10 years ago we took a break. During that time most of our favorite clubs went away, the news media made big issues about swingers, alot of our friends moved, died or divorced. We decided to try getting back in because we missed the friendships with a more open feeling, not necessarily the sex. We came back in our early 60's, just a few years ago. We changed physically, gained a little weight, went grey, lost some hair... most of the things that happen about now. We posted some nice current pics, updated our profile honestly and waited. A few nice gentlemen responded to Cyn, but even then, it was lean pickings. My opinion is that we are all selfish animals, including Cyn and I. There is nothing more exciting than a hot, tight young body. The physical attraction fades as we wrinkle, expand and change. Finding other couples becomes difficult and very selective. Putting up those bigger numbers on our age does not help. Posting honest pics is a double-edged sword. While it's good to be honest it also deters people away. We have found meeting people whenever possible makes the best connection, the way it was in the beginning. When you let people meet you, learn what they are really like and they see what you really are, the relationship seems to solidify quicker and without having to fake it in any way. Its hard, miserable and frustrating after all the fun we had in younger years, but our bodies aged, not our minds. Good luck.. a good friendship is worth the effort.

Single male in this lifestyle.. - I have questions for couples and single females. - At the risk of restating for the millionth time... Cold hard truth time, JOSH. Single guys in the lifestyle are a dime a dozen (that's a really old fashioned way of saying there are a LOT of you). And believe it or not you all claim you're super spiffy dudes (you're not...not all of you anyway). If you all WERE super duper All American boy-next-door stud muffins you'd have girls falling all over you and we wouldn't be having this (single male) conversation for the bazillionth time. So let's do the math. There are a LOT of single guys in the lifestyle (despite some who would argue that singles aren't really swingers). There are fewer couples in the lifestyle and even fewer single ladies (again despite that 'swingles aren't swingers' argument). So even factoring in the fact that ALL swinger females are insatiable minxes who have sex almost continuously there just isn't enough time in the day for them to get around to fucking each and every single guy. Sorry, man. My advice to you, and you aren't gonna like it, is to take all those amazing qualities you possess and find a hottie of your own that you can go out into the wild world of swingdom and share with other people. Swinging really is a couple centric activity. There's a reason it used to be called "wife swapping" and people wearing like disco clothes and gold chains and stuff used to go to key parties. Can you imagine the chaos that would have ensued if a bunch of single guys threw their keys in the bowel at a key party? ps- If you'd rather not find a woman to swing with and prefer to keep your single male status my advice to you would be to grow a very thick skin, become more patient than a Buddhist monk and never ever ever come across as desperate or WORSE pissy that you don't feel like you're getting your fair share of hot swinger tail.
