STD testing and physicians - who and where - The Utah Aids Foundation in Sugarhouse does walk in testing Mondays and Thursdays. They test for HIV (rapid results, you get them before you leave the clinic), and chlamydia and gonorrhea for free. The chlamydia/gonorrhea are just urine for the free tests, and since they are localized infections, paying for the self collect oral/anal tests are worth it as well ($25/each), as people frequently have those without realizing and while testing clean with their urine tests. My one complaint with there is that they take a while to get results (about a week) and I felt a little talked down to when they pull you into a room to talk about safe sex and using condoms; however, that is a small price to pay for the service you are getting.
While, as swingers, those are the two big ones to worry about, it is worth also going to your family physician to get tested for a full panel every few months (I do every 6/8 months for the full panel), since they aren't as common but can still affect people.
If you need something quickly and want to avoid paying too much, the best experience I have had is actually at the Salt Lake County Health Department near downtown (http://slco.org/health/std-clinic/testing-treatment/). They charge per test, and they are the least judgmental and most sex-positive place I've found. The only downside is that they don't take insurance, so it doesn't count against your deductible, and getting an appointment can be hard, but they do take walk ins.

Free will versus playing fair. - - Criusers......... This is exactly why we don't really like the group things. Nobody knows what the boundaries are or if there are boundaries. There are lots of different scenarios as far as groups go. Sometimes it's anything goes. Sometimes it's anything goes with some couples but not others. Sometimes there are couples there who are not even swingers, and in most cases, you have to figure that out yourself..... ( that happened at our last party and she was the hottest woman there.) Just watched a tom and bunny YouTube video about stereotypical swinger signs on my way into work today and seen this thread. But the items you and others described are thingd that people/websites came up with as a way to make it easier to find other swinger couples in public. Though most of these are unsubstantiated, it's still a fun topic nonetheless. And kik, though I'm not an expert for we're still quite new as well, I believe is a chat service (like messenger). But I too, would like some more info on kik.
Now, a question I have is, why don't people ever utilize the Swingular chat? Makes you think huh? And on your profile you demand couple have a pic on thier public profile. Ever thought maybe some people didn't want to post thier face pics for the world to see? Vegas: Swingers circle or couples oasis? - Which do I prefer - As someone who lives here, Couples is the best place. As BLUEYEDGIRL said, they do not allow single men, which is what happens at some of the other clubs and the guys are mostly out of towners lurking around and thinking they are going to get lucky and tend to be somewhat intrusive.
Couples keeps the place clean, has expanded the number of private rooms and still has a big hottub inside, the pool out back, a small buffet included if you get a little hungry and a BYOB bar that has mixers, water and sodas for you.
The dance floor has a small stage and pole, a good DJ and sound system. The pool table is in the lounge and they have some adult videos on the TV off the lounge that has a sofa.
The group areas has a swing and they do have condoms if you need extras.
