Recons 6th annual backyard bash! - - Just wanted to say a huge "thanks" to Recon for throwing another Phenomenal backyard party! Everything from The beds in the orchard, the tent, the lighting, the guests, the nudity, the food, the Taco Vendor from the corner of Sears on state...it was perfect! This was the best swingers party we have ever been to! Hopefully few others will read this so we'll not start the whole "Having pics in the profile or not" argument again! :) To answer the question/statement you articulate above, yes, some folks do need anonymity. There are those folks that have a license for their job issued by County or State governments. Obtaining that license is considered a privilege, just like a drivers' license. No, the government can't search you or do medical tests on you against your will -- unless you want to drive. Then you acquiesce to their demands because you want that license. No, the government can't fire someone for perceived violation of a "morality clause" found in a licensing application. They can, however, deny or publicly harass a person about a license. Without that license many folks lose their job. Not good. So for some folks anonymity is not a matter of guilt or shame, but actually becomes a necessity to protect against a threat to their families livelihood. For me, I'm not paranoid or anything but I see absolutely no reason to expose myself unnecessarily. If someone I've met and actually KNOW approaches me away from the swinging scene, I'm totally fine with it, but an anonymous letter from someone I've never even met would bother me.

What makes this case so interesting is, if the allegations are true, the great lengths of planning undertaken to skirt the laws against prostitution. People tend to believe the First Amendment serves as a blanket protection of religious groups, shielding them from the general laws of the state when laws and beliefs are in conflict. Unfortunately for this group, that interpretation of freedom of religion does not always hold true. Glenn Hudson, a club owner in Dallas with the same perspective, also tried to get creative, calling his alleged nightclub/drug den a "spiritual organization," reports CBS News Dallas/Fort Worth. After his bust for running an unlicensed dance club, he claimed it was actually a youth outreach program, getting the young people of Dallas engaged with their spirituality through dance. Meanwhile, four undercover visits by police yielded 15 separate drug buys. But the Fenix/Darkside wasn't Hudson's only supposed religious group. He also owned a spiritual organization/swinger's club called The Playground, where people could allegedly watch pornography and have sex. The framers of the Constitution knew what harm religious tyranny caused, and how the beliefs of the minority could easily be trampled by the majority. But trying to hide unsavory acts under the mantle of freedom of religion is an affront to all Americans, the religious and the non-religious. The religion clause is meant to protect that which is most personal, most fundamental: the individuality of a belief system. While arguments like those of the Phoenix Goddess Temple; The Playground; and, particularly, Warren Jeffs, wave the banner of religious freedom, the claims are hollow. Worst of all, manipulation of the spirit of the religion clause is an abuse of the gift of a freedom once unknown in the world.

Swingers In Uniform - Pay your memorial day respects here. - Hello All, I would like to put down some of my (KinkyJoker) thoughts on this thread and some of the posts here. I fully agree with the post & poem from SNS2N1. Memorial day is not my day, it is the day that I thank my Brothers & Sisters that have given their all. I would also like to point out that while most believe that a Military member is willing to give their life for thier family, the fact is that they are willing to give that life for their comrads. I have yet to ever hear of a Soldier, Sailor, Airman, or Marine that was thinking of home when they jumped on a Granade/pushed their buddy out of the line of fire/rushed a bunker full of automatic weapons/willing ran in to a hail of bullets to grab a wounded buddy, they were all thinking of saving the life or lives of their buddies. For them, I feel both the swelling and crushing of my heart at the rememberance of their deeds. Also, as stated by SNS2N1, the day for me as a Vet is Nov. 11th. I feel extra blessed because my birthday is the day before, Nov. 10th. Now while this is not the day I was physically brought into this world, it is the day of my birth into something that I will be until I leave this mortal plane. A Marine. However, to be fair, I am a Former Marine, and much to the shame of my best friends, I am now currently in the US Army Reserve. I fully thank the powers that be, that both of my best friends made it through Operation Iraqi Freedom unharmed, as well as the entire roster of my old unit. Now, on to Don Juan. Although we may not follow the rules of our church, who's right is it to determine wheither we are christian or not? Any true believer in any religion knows that every great religious leader had emphisized over and over... its not ours to judge.. thats up to the supreme being you follow. We know alot of wonderful people who are wayward according to their church, but exhibit more respectable behavior than some of those people who claim to be so strict in their obediance to their church rules. A wise man once said.. there are three things never to discuss ... Politics, religion, and sex. So when do we start the forum on the Presidential race?
