Those damn single men! - Where do they fit in this lifestyle? - AKLIM...In response to your question: WHat can a single bring to the table that a couple cannot? 1.) TOTAL attention...When you have a couple, he or she will always be aware of their spouse or spousal equivalent...Thus NOT giving 100% of their attention. 2.) NO ONE has to sit out...Earlier you stated that you would not want to watch someone do your wife, as it would bore you. Do you watch porn? Ahhhh...Live porn...What could be better? If someone in a couple takes a break to get a drink, have a smoke, go to the restroom...whatever they do on their break, they come back and watch 2 people with someone, don't you think they would be just as bored as you are? Don't you think you or your wife are worthy of more attention from a triad situation than a few minutes while someone takes a break? 3.) (Directed at Mr. AKLIM) Are you telling me if a single woman wrote you, you would not want to meet? Come on...EVERY man in America would like 2 women at the same time...it is the most common fantasy! 4.) What's wrong with Mr or Mrs. having a little fun on the side while someone IS out of town? They have not met anyone, they have not been to a club, they are new...Probably from someone else's profile...THEN there are those who say< "Searching for: Single Men, Single Women, Couples" but later in the profile, the last sentence is "No single men" or something like that...You have MANY people in the forums saying they only play with couples, but their profile says differently...And then they want to come in her and bitch that a single man wrote them! Have you noticed? - Admin. doesn't give a SHIT!!! - Hmmm, yeah I think everyone has noticed but I'm not really sure that it makes all that much difference at this point. Swingsites are slowly dying and will, in the not too distant future, cease to exist...at least in the form that they're in now. The swingsite that was basically the model for Swingular (And ADMIN got kicked off of when he started Swingular.-LOL) is more or less a ghost town at this point. We're lifetime members of both and the other one used to have a HUGE, vibrant, swinger community that was pretty much nationwide and now there are just a handful of people who actively participate in the forums and other features on the webpage. Swingular won't be too far behind (What is Utah, like 5 or 10 years behind the rest of the country? LOL) and even Kasidie will eventually succumb to the pressure of other types of media and even easier ways to connect with others. Additionally, many younger "swingers" are simply bypassing swinging altogether and just hooking up with other people without giving it a label or having any kind of formal community. *shrug* In the meantime, Swingular has become more and more just a venue for people to peddle their services and/or place redundant "classified ads" seeking what they've already stated they're seeking in their profiles. LOL

Swinging and LDS... - Are the two compatible? I know this is a huge can of worms... - We were talking to someone we thought was a "vanilla" friend last night. She has told us in the past how she is a total LDS member and "very religious", yet we just found out that she is and has been in the lifestyle for quite a while. We are a bit perplexed. While we are not LDS, we assume the church would frown on the lifestyle. Is this not the case? Or are LDS'rs living a "double life"? We all do to a certain extent, we don't advertise that we are swingers. But, to you who are active LDS members, how hard is to maintain while attending church? To those who are not and have dated LDS members, is it difficult to have poly relationships with members? What are some of the obstacles? We do like her very much.

How Old Is Old - - hey blueeyes, from our perspective at least, we think you are probably right and probably wrong at the same time!!! . . . you are right about being in the minority relative to the kind words offered by most in this post, but we really believe you are also part of the vast majority of swingers who use age as a primary basis for discrimination . . . kind of a strong opinion we suppose, except that we can see at least 4 different ways anyone can pretty easily check for age discrimination providing some basis for that opinion . . . BUT, before we go into all of that, please understand that we realize that everyone is entitled to discriminate in any way they see fit . . . in fact, discrimination is not just ok, it is absolutely necessary!!! . . . you see, no one has enough time to sample from every cup (sigh!!!), so everyone has to establish discriminating criteria . . . and, for sure, we're NOT feelin' sorry for ourselves; we realize it's just part of the deal . . . there is one more thing to mention before listing ways to check for age discrimination: we think there is a pretty easy and logical answer for the OP . . . those tired of reading already, can skip to the bottom and get that opinion . . . however, we kinda hope peeps continue reading 'cause, sooner or later, age is an issue everyone will face . . . so, how does one check for age discrimination??? . . . try this: pick any population center (like slc) . . . open a bunch of profiles in that population from different age groups (say, 30's, 40's, 50's, and beyond) . . . record the number of times each profile was "recently viewed" (ya know, that little statistic conveniently provided by swingular) . . . then, simply compare the numbers for the different age groups . . . if your sample is big enough, you will see profile interest decreases with age . . . if you don't want to do the math, just talk with folks of all ages and ask them what they see . . . i know many (most???) complain like crazy about email (but somehow, everyone seems ok with tweeting, texting, facebooking, etc - - - hmmm???) . . . and, shit, there is always face-to-face (omg!!!) . . . so anywho, find an acceptable way to communicate, just ask, and keep track of what people say . . . we've done that to some extent, without any surprises . . . (although this method takes a bit more time, it has the added benefit of allowing you to connect with others) . . . another way to look for age discrimination centers on visiting other swing sites . . . we won't mention those competitors, 'cause we don't want to upset swingular management . . . but, hey, most all of us know where to look anyhow . . . in our experience, virtually all other sites list age preferences inside each profile . . . so, open a bunch of 'em and note age preferences . . . if your sample is big enough, you will see that there is almost no interest in those beyond 55 . . . it's almost like a cliff, and that somehow, sex, sensuality, desirability, etc, have an expiration date . . . we would like to think that it really depends on the individuals involved . . . and finally, there is an acid test: simply stick around the lifestyle . . . sooner or later, you will have a personal verification of the age discrimination issue . . . btw, we hope you do stick around, and we hope you have a great time doing it . . . so, how old is too old??? . . . we simply believe you are too old when finding suitable partners becomes too hard . . . what is "too hard" and who is "suitable" will vary for everyone, so the chronological marker for every swinger will be a bit different . . . but, the bottom line is the same: you are too old when this business gets too hard . . . btw, we certainly hope our time doesn't come too soon!!! . . . cheers!!! . . .

The vent! - Judgements, I'm so tired of them. - In the recent years I have changed, morphed even, into the person I am today. A swinger. Eccentric, confidant, secure, uninhibited, with a puissant sexuality. What I consider "out of the box!" Open, understanding, diverse. Only within the last year have we dared to call ourselves "swingers" we decided together to change our lifestyle, to change our rules, to change our minds about how we regard each other as individuals. What I have noticed as I have taken this quest into being a swinger, is how the people in and around my life are noticing this change, and reacting with judgements. They live by different rules than I do, they choose to, and yet they still judge. Are these people just unhappy with themselves? Are they jealous? Why are they concerned? I have failed to understand this. Why do they spew hate at me?(I call it emotional vomit) Shouldn't they be happy for me? If these people are already having averse feelings about me and/or my behavior, how will they react to find out we are swingers? I now know why some of swingers only associate with other swingers. This one time at Swingers Camp - Discussion about N by N camp out - First and foremost Thank you to the hosts that put on this event. This was our third camp out and was awesome like always. It was great to hang out with some of our great friends as well as seeing some old friends and making new ones. Looking forward to next year and the event in between then.
