Why are there so many swingers from Utah? - - We were actually considering moving home to Florida at summer's end! Maybe a 2500 mile detour out west is in order?
Florida does seem to be the swinging mecca of the US. We have lived in Texas, California, and Florida and have have noted that South Florida (which should lose any such contest based on the population count alone) boasts 3 of the worlds best swingers clubs; atleast by NASCA's tally.
We are fairly good friends with the owners of two of the other popular paid sites, and they are based in Florida, so the Floridian member count is very high.
We helped to launch one in 2003 (a new swingers website) and it was 100% Floridian until we moved up here to Maryland, bringing the gospel of the (adult) "private adventure" with us. Our repeated attempts to convert the local natives to morally casual, sexually enlightened beings have met with limited success. OUCH - Anyone caught swinging bu family or friends? - Ran into Ms. Evil's cousin a few years ago. Were invited to an annual bbq non-swing party by a couple who WERE swingers but they said even though all vanilla sometimes the party could got quite steamy. Hung out, drank a lot and flirted with all the cute vanillas and our hosts. Suddenly (while naked in the hottub) I saw Ms. Evil's cousin walk in. I quickly alerted her and tried to dress her quickly and sneak her around the side of the house but she was just drunk enough to think it would be hilarious to say hi to her cousin. Turns out the cousin was a FWB of the hosts since high school and frequently joined them for sex. Still see the cousin every so often and though nothing was ever mentioned we all know...LOL
Polyamory - polyanorous couples. - We have been in a Poly relationship with another couple for 2 years. There have been lots of great times and some rough times we have had to work through. It takes a completely stable marriage for the spouses and tons of open and honest communication from everyone involved. Both marriages are going on 20 yrs+ Every poly situation is different. Some have very strict rules, however we chose not to have rules. We just have mutual respect for one anothers marriages and each individual relationship between the four of us. If it ended today, I would have no regrets what so ever. Our lives have been enriched beyond belief and our marriages are stronger and happier than ever. I have learned so much about love, relationships, communication, and myself during these last couple of years and I wouldn't change a thing. We started out as Swingers and still have Swinger friends, but we are emotionally and sexually faithful to our partners. Five years ago, I could never fathom loving anyone else besides my husband. The other couple's kids are grown and we still have 2 at home. We will not tell our children the extent of our relationship with our couple until they are out of High School. Some Poly people blend homes and families. We chose not to do that, but do not judge those who do. Poly relationships are very challenging to say the least. It can be wonderful as well.
