closed doors? - - It seems as if the doors are closed to a couple with little or no experience. Why is that? My wife and I have been posting ads on various swing sites for a while now and haven't been lucky enough to find a nice couple or single female to hook up with. I'm pretty sure when our founding fathers first put quill to paper they had the hope that they were creating a new land based on the premise of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness....LET'S GET SOME HAPPINESS YA'LL We gonna have a Labor day Lust-A-Thon!!!! Come on out Labor Day weekend and celebrate your day away from the man the way only swingers know how, by exercising your constitutional right to party!!!!!!! When I thought up the idea of having a Labor Day party, some thought I was mad, some thought I was crazy...THE FOOLS!!!! (cue maniacal laughter) This looks like it will be one of the BIGGEST turnouts ever, and it's all happening because of you......kudos. The festivities will begin on Friday September 3rd with a get together/bar meet at Jillian's High Life Lanes in Bloomington, Minnesota (that's in the Mall Of America) from 8 pm till. E402 E. We meet in the bowling alley by the bowling ball rack by the last bowling lane (We'll be the rowdy folks on the couch). There is no charge. Then the Fun continues with a party on Saturday Sept. 4th starting at 8:00 p.m. which will continue into the night of Sunday Sept. 5th. The donation for this little endeavor is 10.00 American per cpl or single (to cover expenses) and a dish to share with other party goers (chips, salad, etc.) And we'll supply the 2 King BR suite with full kitchen and the buffalo wings (we're ordering 200, so bring an appetite) And the weekend will wind down with a potluck cookout on Labor Day Monday September 6th at Como Park in St. Paul. Come on down and party up . Bring your friends, your lovers, your neighbors (since it IS that kinda party) , or that special couple you've just been dying to break in. Members, we need your help! - Your feedback is needed to get more members in your area. - As we prepare to launch the redesign of Swingular, we are also getting ready to launch an aggressive marketing campaign. As you all know, the success of Swingular not only comes from a great site, with great features that are easy to use but also from having a lot of members to choose from in each city or area. We currently utilize the normal routes to reach out to new customers but mostly rely on search engines for the majority of our referrals. Right now, the number of daily new sign ups is ok but we want to improve on that. Not only will this benefit Swingular but all of our members as it will bring in new members for you to contact. As a member, we feel your feedback can help us reach this goal so we need your help. First, how did you find out about Swingular exactly? How do you look for sites like this in general? As far as search engines go, Swingular is in the top 10 listings of most keywords such as Swingers, Adult Swingers, Swingers Ads, etc... If you found Swingular through a search engine, what keywords did you use? If not, what keywords would you use? What search engine? Do you have some other creative ideas that would help us promote Swingular? Any suggestions? A few years back, we were going to start a local host program. We scratched the idea for the time but now we are thinking of pursuing the program again. It works like this: We assign hosts in cities across the US, kind of like a franchise, for a small start up fee. Those hosts would then be responsible for promoting Swingular in their territories, provide local customer service, coordinate local parties and events as well as sponsor local parties and events. We would provide the tools necessary to help them do that such as flyers, cards, ads, banners, etc... In return, they would make 50% of all sales for their area for everyone whether they referred them or not. This would help build a bigger local presence for Swingular which in turn attracts more members. What do you think? One of our marketing strategies that we will be implementing this summer is local targeting. We have found that if we focus on one city at a time, once it starts to build, it blooms on it's own and we can move on to another city. What would be the best ways to reach you to promote a site like this? Ads in the local alternative paper? Local parties? Anything else? Swingers dying out? - Is the utah swinger community dying or becoming to needy? - I don't think it is dying out, by any means. My opinion is a few things are happening. The Swingular community is actually growing...bigtime. Hence the increasing number of events being posted. And yes..most are paid events...for a couple of reasons..to actually pay for the cost of an event..and plain old capitolism. Welcome to America. No real problem. House parties...are alive and well. But...because of the increased number of folks here, things have changed from before. Now, if you post one here..you have a bunch of people respond..most likely too many...some must be told no....hard for most of us to do. Consequently..hosts have become a bit more selective.. and send personal invites..rather than general announcements. Basically...house parties have moved underground. And hosts have become more selective about just inviting particulair age groups, or body types. That leaves many of us out. I know our email box is empty most of the time, unless it is us hosting the party. Just my opinion of course..yours maybe different!

Too Young? - Are we just too young... - I can tell you this for a fact - based on both our experience AND our attitude - there is a whole lot LESS drama and insecurity with older swingers than there is with younger ones. Us "seasoned" folks aren't hung up on looks (ours OR theirs) the way those junior to us are. If you read a profile, and it specifies some aspect of how potential applicants have to look in order to be considered viable candidates for play, there's a 99% chance the profile belongs to a younger couple. Vanity, ego, hangups and elitism diminish with age. And as 2THAT said above, if you've never been with an older couple, you don't know what you're missing.

what the f#%@ was he thinking? - swingers still deserve respect - We get those too, it ruins it for all those nice single men that really are respectful. When men like that IM us, we dont even give them a second thought, most of the time the feed off of the attention whether it is negative or posistive they really dont care as long as they get a response! My advice is just to simply ignore them, block them, do what you can to just not give them what they want! It is to bad that some people think that just cuz you are in this Lifestyle it means you will give it to anyone, at anytime and it simiply doesnt mean that at all........so we like sex more then most but it doesnt mean we are sluts, we still want respected.
