Are swingers moral? - Who determines what morals are? - Morality has to do with not hurting each other in a relationship. Nothing to do with others.

KUTV News Story on Swingers - News - Nothing seems to piss off Mormons (arguably the most vanilla of vanillas) more than the thought of someone having more fun (or ANY fun, really) than they are. We should all be totally content with the ward ice cream social followed by a good solid 5 minutes of missionary position sex under the covers, right? Of course then there's the concept of this being highly offensive to Jesus. It baffles me that a deity would be so much more concerned with what we do with our genitals, and with whom, than with things like war, pestilence and famine. Unless of course doing non-approved things with our genitals directly causes those terrible things (pretty sure a lot of people think that's the case). Either way this should definitely cause an uptick in new accounts on Swingular (as well as more than a few lookie loos) so those who are nervous might want to lay low for a little while. I also imagine this story will send multitudes of chubby little Mormon housewives scrambling for the software they used to find their husbands' Ashley Madison accounts. [em]Emo_49[/em]

Curious Devil - Political Science Project - Lifetime Member Location: CLINTON, UT Join Date: Mar 22, 2006 Posted By: TEQUILAROSE Reply posted on: Jan 22, 2008 - 9:09 pm -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jared, I'm only arguing because his post was directed at me. I am obliging them. LOL! It passes the time. LOL! The spokesman for Florida Swingers is saying swingular doesn't put out in Florida, even though the forum participation from the area doesn't agree. Just calling bullshit. LOL! -D- Princess, you said that this was the hot site in Florida and you are wrong, the numbers are not strong in comparison with other sites. Really....others from the area disagree? hahahaaha

Meeting Couples - How to approach - We travel a lot and see couples we would be interested in getting with. Since we know of no way to determine if they are swingers does anyone have suggestions how to approach or bring up the subject> Ralph and Fae

Obama's Roadtrip - -
Fair enough. Then why rely on them for anything that likely wasn't adequately studied?
Likely just does not do it for me...When the numbers are given AND shown how they were gathered, I tend to believe they are fairly accurate.
Let's take your Pepsi/Coke example. There is likely nothing befuddling about your scenario. Just one possibility: Where are the two Florida products bottled? Maybe it's the water.
Both bottled locally, it is chalked up to being a preferance thing. In WI, lived there for a while, it was called pop or soda, unless a VERY specific thing was needed, a Mountain Dew for instance. In the south, it is a Coke no matter what it is. If someone in the south offers a Coke, it could be Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Diet Rite, Sam's Club Soda, etc.
I'm glad you agree with the logic. My Bachelor's is in Social Welfare (Psych Minor). Human nature is only a bitch of a thing when you get out there a few standard deviations. The bulk of us are as predictable as rats.
Believe it or not, I have 2 BA's (econ and int. rel.) with a minor in social work. So I am very aware of social science standards and SOME believe that we're predictable. If you have a smaller sample, we are fairly predictable, especially when the sample is taken from a specific group of people (swingers for instance, better yet, swingers in a specific region), once you get to the larger populations (nationwide for instance), human behavior is not easily quantified. Try being the ONLY conservative in all the social work classes, it was fun! Then again, opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.
I propose that as an economist you are simply looking at things with a limited perspective.
Possibly, but I also have a rare ability to look at it from an outsider's view....
There is simply no question that if a person's basic needs (food and shelter) are met, there is less motivation to risk the consequences of violating societal rules.
I can see the logic of this, however, we are Americans, we always want MORE, we are constantly bombarded with images of MORE, we are constantly told that without MORE we are incomplete, etc. What are the consequences of violating societal rules? Food, shelter, clothing, TV, etc? Really tough there. Look at prisons in Mexico, if your family does not provide, you starve, more than likely. THAT is consequences, it is a deterrant (sp?). IMHO, one of the reasons for our increased crime rates is the lack of public punishment. If every time you turned around, you saw a group of people in black and white stripes mowing lawns, trimming trees, etc. on the side of the road in leg chains, it would cut crime considerably. If they did public executions, it would cut crime dramatically. Then again, I am a staunch supporter of heavy penalties for crimes, especially when they are repeat offenders, most of the social scientists are not. They want more rehab and such, which I also support, BUT only for first timers, not for repeat offenders. Anyway, I am thoroughly enjoying our debate... Next!

Swinger & 🦄 Bait - An experiment to attract swingers and unicorns. - The unicorn bait would have definitely caught my eye. :)

Swingers Party - Doesnt mean who ever is there is open to everyone elsa - WOW!! some people just have no manners... I wouldn't write off the whole club just because of a few bad apples though.. Just our 2 cents

Polyamory - three (or more)-way RELATIONSHIPS - Hi.Well I have read all the posts and thought I would post as well. My wife and I are poly. We too are just at the beginning of a poly triad, our second. The poly life style is hard to define due to the fact that there are lots of combimnations. With most of the posts I would have to agree with all that they said. Dont keep score, but most of all be honest with everyone. In our expirence take things slow and one day at a time. In one post it was said that holding hands in a mall was not taken well.... who cares! it is your life if you are happy then what is the problem. in most cases the on lookers are probably wishing they had what you have! Our first triad lasted 4 years. We were all young and she ended finding the man of her dreams and they got married. That and as abit of a twist they are swingers. As far as suport as a poly familly look at poly groups on facebook. We are members of Polyamory Edmonton. It may not be close to you but we are all open and willing to talk!

Bi-Sexuality - A question for the girls of swingular -
So it's a BENCH of single males and what, a swarm of swingers? "Mayhem" sounds WAY more descriptive, by the way, from everything you've told me. [em]Emo_49[/em]
For swinger men, it's a pestilence.

Here's something Ive been curious about - -

You can't be a "real" swinger unless you're official. We answered an ad in the back of a Spiderman comic book, sent in a quiz and a drawing (boobs and a penis) and they told us we would be AWESOME swingers and to send them 19.95 plus P&H. Now we're card carrying swingers. If our certification ever expires we're just gonna be plain old wife swappers.
Did you also buy the x-ray glasses and the Sea Monkeys? Their advertisements are usually on the next page. I did and what a rip-off.

we have discussed this and we feel it is possible for the ever elusive unicorn to be a swinger. however, for our money a single male cannot be a swinger he is just another horny male who is often single for a reason lol
That's the dumbest fuckin thing I ever heard!! A single (unicorn) female can be a swinger, but a single male is "just another horny male who is often single for a reason"??? What about a single female that's single for a reason? Whatever that reason might be...it's no different. Just different parts. That was such a huge chauvinistic statement from some fucker that's probably sittin home on his couch covered in potato chip droppings, wackin his fuckin pud as he picture-surfs everyone on here!!! It's people just like you that make it so hard for some of these really decent guys to get a dialogue going with a couple at least, or a friendship at best. There's no damn difference in a single male or a single female being considered a "swinger". The COUPLE is the "swinging" part of the equation, not the single...they're just wanting to get they're "fuck" on, male or female, for whatever reasons they might have. So do me a favor...hurry up and get your nut, wipe the chip grease off your fingers so you don't fuck up your keys too bad when your wife needs to check her email, and go hang yourself!!! I have no patience for fucktards like you that have no idea what this really is!!! Play your own game, but don't ruin it for other's that are trying like hell to play within the rules!!! Wanna borrow a rope???
Are the two of you, perhaps, being a bit reactionary about this thread? Pebbles I would agree that many if not most everyone involved in someway with the swing scene is mostly trying "to get their fuck on" and I appreciate you honesty, but to offer the guy a rope? Either he or she or both made a reductionist statement about single men. Their opinion really only spoils a single males chances with them and only them. Remember guys with the big sabers don't need to rattle them and the ladies also read these forums and the ladies usually prefer a gentleman. Peace people, peace.
You're right, I was a bit reactionary and over the top. I guess I get a bit defensive for the truly respectful single males out there. And YES we have them blocked, but only because Pebbles is into girls and very close relationships right now. Thanks for reminding me to tone it down a bit. Peace babies!
