A paradigm shift - polyamory - Your thoughts? Here are mine... - Hitting the topic of Poly.... I am poly my wife is not. We swing. I have a lady friend, spice if you will who is also married and her husband is not poly and they do not swing. We, all 4 of us are fast friends and both my wife and her husband have no problem with her's and my arrangement. THey also know that We swing. Now how did that person come into our life.. we met and became friends almost immediatly. I fell in love with her but am sill "IN love with my wife as well. I< we, like to become friends with people before we jump into the sack with them... BTW they both know that we swing. Could I fall in love with another woman, definitely.. Could I fall for a woman who we might swing with....I could and have. No biggy...If she is not into that I understand... Not everyone can handle the situation Some one mentioned that jealousy are natural.... Only in the sense that by example we are programmed to them, just as we are not "taught " not to eat other people but we kind of get that impression...Canibalism(sp) is not acceptable any more than is marrying ones own sister or brother. Possessiveness is about owning somthing that is not yours to own. No one owns anyone else and especially not their spouse. Is it natural to own a person? I say no. Somehow when people get into a relationship the idea creeps in that says that the other person is your exclusive property. One need to put that aside if one is a swinger. As for jealousy.... Jealousy is a combination of both possessiveness and ones own insadequacies. Maybe one could describe that as fear.. Fear that she or he will meet someone better. Fear that we are not good enough, etc etc etc. So Jealousy is a reaction to these fears and the possessiveness not a true emotion at all. Everyone thinks of Jealousy as an emotion, which it is not. So polyamory is very possibly with swinging but may purists of poly will say that poly and swinging are difinitely two different things... Maybe but they can exist simultaneously. Just a note; More than 60% and I've seen figures up to 77% of all married couples, and I'm sure that it extends to LTR's as well...maybe even swingers, are at some time in their life engaged in serial monogamy..; i.e., either cheating or getting ready for the split-up. Isn't this a simpler form of or something like poly? ... THink about that....

SWINGERS Golf Pro's and Tennis Ho's Crawl - Pub Crawl - You're invited to Our annual Golf Pros and Tennis Hos Bar Crawl. April 4th SWINGERS- is a golf and tennis themed, 9 bar pub crawl. Dress: is wild golf or tennis clothing. 20 minutes will be spent at each bar, which is considered a hole or a set. Once here, a player must have a drink/ shot/ or a beer, to have strokes removed from their scorecard by our judges. If you are a Tennis player you must win your set by gaining points. The scorecard contains the list of bars, what drinks must be purchased for stroke deductions, and a listing of other shenanigans folks can do to have strokes taken off or to gain points (such as Flashing, making out with a stranger, dressing in player attire bringing a mascot or caddy. (Points for creativity and/or sexiness). Quoting the movie Caddy Shack, or buying a judge a drink) the tennis player who wins the most sets also wins a prize. The Pro with the lowest score at the end wins all the bragging glory, a surprise gift and the coveted SWINGERS CUP. If you are not drunk by the 9th hole, you clearly didn't follow the game plan. All competitors get a Bar Golf t-shirt at the first bar. So that we can print enough T-Shirts for everyone, tickets will not be available after March 29th. NON-COMPETITORS there is no cost for you to attend this event. But please cheer and give encouragement to the competitors. Also act as good caddies and help the player get from bar to bar. Another way to identify swingers - Totally hot T-Shirts - I dont really like them , if i did get one it would only wear it to a swing party, and i hope everyone already knows thats why were there LOL..... I do have the neckless and wear it all the time, at a swing party or not... Im just not much for the shirt idea Thumper

Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - "I think, therefore I fuck!" I need some hatred, maybe I'll change our screen name to: "WhiteCockParty". Then, Kristy Lynn will hate me. ULUV, don't worry about it bro. They don't hate the "who" you are as much as the "what" you are. Not that it will add comfort. Most couples see single males as vultures looking to get laid at the expense of someone's husband. Some couples however, us included (rarely) invite a single male in the mix for some voyeuristic fantasy of watching your wife get the lights fucked out of her. I think the negative stigma though, is when you go to a party with your wife to meet a couple, and some rude, leechy guy, who can't see a signal if it hit him in the face, won't back off. Just because you are at a party as a swinger, doesn't mean you are walking in the door with a sign on your wife's vagina that says "Please, someone, anyone, stick your dick in here". We look for quality and fun. We are not out for purely sexual reasons. The fun, the connection, the right people, and the enigma of all the newness really create fabulous sex!! A single guy looking to cum on your wife's eyebrows, well, not always hot and romantic. Bottom line. Single guys have a place in the swing scene. But, if I could give you any advice. Post your profile..... and wait for an invite! If someone wants to fuck you, they will let you know. If they aren't contacting you, they aren't salivating for your cock. So, stand by, keep your dick ready, and wait for the green light. You won't be disappointed, and you will have more positive experiences.. We don't hate you, we just don't need you, until we're ready! Mr. X

Which Motorcycle Survey? - In the market and want your opinion... -
Oh, I have strong thoughts on this subject folks. And I am really doing my homework and shopping very thoroughly. I'm taking my time because I won't be buying until Feb/Mar at the earliest. And I've been watching the Can-Am develop over the past 3 years now. One of our nearby dealers carries them alongside Big Dog Choppers and Suzuki. Interesting line-up. It's not that what others think will make my decision or unduely influence it, but I am interested in reading others' opinions and thoughts to compare to my own. And I'm checking with a few different demographic groups. Let's face it: swingers tend to march to the beat of their own drum more than most folks! LOL I brought up the "cool factor" and image stuff in the context of what our own perceptions are of bike culture. I mentioned that we are cruiser types, not crotch-rocket people. I wear western style riding boots and a black leather jacket. But my jacket has armor inserts, all the modern upgrades, and even reflective piping on a traditional cruiser jacket frame. I wear a Bell military-style open face helmet and goggles. My wife rides a blacked out (Raven) 2011 Star Stryker. So we sort of blend the old w/the new a bit. I guess I'm hesitant about the style change. Thanks for the input and please keep it coming. You're helping me cogitate. LOL
Cogitate? I read somewhere that they've come up with a cure for that in the Netherlands.

Swingers of Color - - I have me a hot asian man! It was my idea to begin trying new sexual encounters, but it was him that signed us up with a bunch of sites and leads the way when it come to meeting new people. B

LDS Survey Results - -
Oh yeah just cuz lds is one of the main religions does not mean it is the most common if you put all Christian religions together and I mean all of them including Mormons catholic etc all combined there is only six hundred million more Christians ( as a whole. ) than the Islam religion making them the most common. So no one is bashing on the most common religion because so far I am the only one to bring up Islamic religion. We are bashing on poser two faced punks..
The problem with your argument is you didn't comprehend what you read.
We are in Utah, so the most common religion is Mormonism, which makes this poll most applicable to the demographic,
In other words, Here in Utah the most common religion is Mormonism, which makes this poll most applicable to the demographic (i.e. Utah) A majority of the state's residents are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). As of 2007, 60.7% of Utahans are counted as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, although only 41.6% of them are active members.[ According to a report produced by the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life the self-identified religious affiliations of Utahans over the age of 18 as of 2008 are:[7] The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 58% (labeled as Mormon on survey) Unaffiliated 16% Catholic 10% Evangelicals 7% Mainline Protestants 6% Black Protestant Churches 1% No Answer 1% Other Faiths 1% Buddhism <.5% Eastern Orthodox <.5% Hinduism <.5% Islam <.5% Jehovah's Witnesses <.5% Judaism <.5% Non denominational <.5% Other World Religions <.5% Margin of error +/- 6% So, If my math is correct, all groups designated as Christian, other than LDS, make up 25% of the states religions. That is already less than half the percentage of the Mormon church, yet just that 25% completely dwarfs Islam's .5% HOTTYZX2, calm down and clear your head before you go making radical declarations about numbers you obviously haven't researched. Granted this information was valid as of 2008, but I did not find anything more recent, and I think it is at least a good benchmark to go on.
And FYI Utah is the swinger Capitol of the nation. Utah has more swingers then organ and Washington has hippies..
I would love to know where this statistic comes from. I have been searching for it for weeks now and can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know?

Bi-Sexuality - A question for the girls of swingular - So it's a BENCH of single males and what, a swarm of swingers? "Mayhem" sounds WAY more descriptive, by the way, from everything you've told me. [em]Emo_49[/em]

New Swingers Club in Utah - Gauging interest in new club - My husband already posted on this topic a while back, but I’m now adding my opinion. In addition to state law hurdles and liquor licensing nightmare laws, each city has difficult sexually oriented business licensing requirements and ordinances. Yes, a nieve person will think that a swingers club is not a sexually oriented business, but city leaders and members of the public will make a big push to ensure a swingers club fits within the ordinance definitions. The licensing process is very public and anyone involved in the licensing will have a lot of exposure. Licensing applications often require background checks, names, business site visits and walkthroughs, and ongoing mandatory surveys after the business opens. Publicity and continued legal battles with the state and city scare couples away. Research Plato’s a Short-lived swingers club in NYC that was briefly open. During its existence it was continually challenged, closed, reopened, raided, and ultimately put out of business. If NYC ensures Plato's went out of business how is a swingers club in Utah going to fare? This is a link to SLC’s Sexually Orented Businesses overview page that has links to the ordinance. Most other cities have some type of ordinance like this. http://www.slcgov.com/business-licensing/sob Keep having house parties. . . .

lifestyle survey - - Got into this by talking about our fantasies, roll playing a little in bed, reading stories about swinging in magazines. Background...grew up, like many here in Utah, in ultrconservative households where sex before marriage was forbidden. Met in college and married young because we were SO fucking horny. Virgins when we met. Became swingers probably because we wondered what we had missed out on not sleeping with other people. Why do you think there are so many horny swingers in little old conservative Mormon Utah? LOL
