Who in the relationship initiated the idea of joining the lifest - And why? - I lost my virginity to my hubby, and had no other partners Before we married. We were fortunately able to befriend an older (25's) couple in college who were swingers. When I started having all the usual "what am I missing" emotions, he suggested that we pursue the lifestyle. The let down. - - Well POET_RAYL maybe the reason you have problems is most of your pics are from 2001! And you had one from 2006. You have been on here since 2005 and in 6 years no comments. Makes you think huh? And on your profile you demand couple have a pic on thier public profile. Ever thought maybe some people didn't want to post thier face pics for the world to see? We have jobs and don't want just lookers seeing our pics. If your swingers like us that's one thing I can't speak for everyone but we just didn't want anyone to see our faces on a swingers site. Anyone thats been on this site for more then 2 years without a comment gives us a red flag.

Ways to point out Swingers in public - - ^ all true, but if we see a black ring on a right hand AND a wedding ring on the left hand, we’re going to ask a few subtle questions to see if they are LS or not. It’s just for fun, chances are still low they are LS. As far as picking LS couples out...pre-LS we wouldn’t know what to look for but now it’s not that hard. Watch them at a club and you can often tell. It’s a fun game to play.
Swingers at work... - - I,male, work for the worlds largest retailer, guess who. I have found at least 3 people in every store I have worked in that are in the lifestyle. We have all had a lot of fun with it and to my knoweldge nobody has had a problem working with a "playmate".
hotel party advice - - I've never been to a hotel party for the purpose of meeting swingers/possible swinging. Has any one else been? We've been invited next weekend and I'd like to know what to expect. I'm already discussing it with the Mr since he seems to be a little more forward than I. (ahem) Of what *I* will and won't be doing, just in case.

What are swingers really looking for ?Are they looking for frien - Has the happen to you. - i think as long as u are honest on your profile about everything that u want and dont want then they cant blame u if they dont want to take the time to read it all before they try to email u . just be honest with yourself and others . and tell everybody up front . it would also be more helpful if u wrote the people that u wanted to meet that way u have some control over who the people are . adn the ones that write u that are looking for something else . dont worry about it . it happnes to all of us . dont let others get u down . find people that are looking for what your want and have fun . we tell everybody that we are just looking for friends and we hang out with alot of different people . and we have been with different people looking for different things . sometimes people just clikc and can have fun . and some dont click even wanting the same things .jsut be honest and look and try to find people like u and make friends on the way . if u want to try someting new then do it . if not stick to what u like .

"Black Ring" or other Lifestyle insignia? - - We used to go to lifestyle "conventions" back in the day. A thousand or so couples taking over a hotel. Theme dances, seminars, an expo hall with anything and everything sexual. You were given wristbands when you registered to get into all the venues. It usually took about 4 or 5 hours for people (vanillas) at nearby hotels and such to hear about what was going on start looking for who was wearing those telltale wristbands. It would get so bad people (swingers) would just take them off or try to hide them under watches and jewelry. Can't imagine something like this wouldn't fairly quickly (especially with the internet) turn out the same or worse and for some reason not too many people seem to want to be identified as swingers when they're at the grocery store or out to eat with their families or in ANY public place.
