I care about my partners, and their well-being. We have a relationship, we communicate before we meet others, we use protection, and are respectful of feelings. We spend holidays together, do family things, and yes I call them friend, but we share more than just sex. I would never characterize them as friends of convenience.

There are plenty of people here who are fine with that particular scenario and more than a few who are also looking, specifically, for that type of play. No need to go elsewhere. The trick is to find couples that won't try to punk you and get you to do a full swap after leading you to believe they are okay with your rules.
Also, there are quite a few women that aren't really bi or are only bi up to a point. It could be partly due to the fact that you're in Cedar. Friend collectors or swingers - - We feel that we have "friends" who we don't even know. We'll get a friend request and then nothing else. Together we have been in the lifestyle for over a year. We started in September 2019 and hit the ground running. Before we got together Scott was on here as a single guy but had met a number of amazing people. So we went to a party which was my first swinger experience. I was nervous but it turned out to be one of the best nights ever. We kept playing and meeting new people then the pandemic hit and we take it seriously. We will meet new people but not in large gatherings.
Swingers of Color - - I did wonder about that as recently as 7 yrs ago. Today the number of blacks and mixed couples is doing well and increasing everyday. Hispanics are also coming more to the fore in recent years... And the statistics of only a few years ago are now defunct. More and more 45 - 60 yr olds are joining the ranks of swingers. Many are looking for simply another couple for friendship with benefits on an exclusive basis but it's still swinging.. The empty nesters and retirees are on the move. Don't sell them short either... experience is really worth something.
First time? - - Well said by doers...I think its normal for different approaches to this as well.
