Single Guy Rant - Probably not for everybody - So I'm thinking, how bad must I look at 51?!? Married men, solo time - What do you think? - Swingers talk a lot about commitments and open relationships. However they are in a minority position when it comes to numbers. I don't think you can generalize people by locale. Political position also has nothing to do with tact. Both Dems and Reps can "mud sling" and both can be vulgar. You can't say that all southern people are well-mannered and cordial, after all they still have the highest levels of open racism in their states, to include forms of self-imposed segregation. We know first hand, we moved from the south to Utah. A year in the South Carolina (An Uber Republican State), we saw racism, like we've never seen it. Does that mean all Southern people are ignorant racists??? No, just as it means that not all are good well mannered, polite individuals. The same applies to the more liberal states. Locale has absolutely nothing to do with it. Thinking like that... generalizing... sterotyping is what breeds hate and intolerance. Using these forums as an example; most people that claim that they are above the mud slinging, name calling or other social taboos, are a regular source of it. They are the first to critisize everyone they interact with, yet pull no punches and often hypocritically violate the rules they try to impose on everyone. I've learned that there are a lot of people here that like to dictate to others what swinging and social interaction should be, yet they do not wish to be generalized or categorized within those confines. Regarding the subject of this thread... I think that if you have an attractive quality a "draw" and there is someone available that is draw to said quality, then you will be successful. We all have factors which attract or repel others. Unfortunately, sometimes this is age. Why make it so HARD? - pic posting - Pics are a huge part of successfully meeting someone on ANY dating site. It has been proven that your chances are 80% greater. Everyone understands the need to be discrete for some people but there are things you can do to get around that. First, of all, you are on a swingers dating site and anyone else who is on here, is here for the same reason. The chance of someone stumbling onto this site and finding you is very, very slim. There are thousands of adult sites out there. Honestly, they would have to have some presumption of you being on here in the first place to even get close. With that said though, that chance can still worry some people but that is why we have private and custom photo albums. It allows you to pick and choose who you wish to view your photos. So unless you use your real names or a familiar username on your profile, there is no way anyone can relate your profile to your real person. As a second measure of protection, cut off the picture at your heads or blur out your faces. Then as you move along in your contact, send an attachment with just your faces. There are plenty of ways you can protect yourself yet still allow someone to see your photos. But if you still believe that someone is going to catch you with those slim chances, then maybe your best bet is to not even create profiles on a dating site. Because without pics, you probably won't meet many people.

Swingers cars??? - What ya driving?? - I have a 2003 GMC step-side pickup, and the wife drives a 2002 Explorer. Both are in like new condition. I believe in keeping our cars in perfect shape. I'm an old muscle car fanatic. My high school ride was a '66 Chevelle SS w/ a 396. Sure wish I still had that one. Low 12's at about 121 in the 1/4. A couple of recent changes - last Thursday, the GMC truck got totaled in a wreck in front of our house. It was parked on the street at the time. And I just got a 2012 BMW 1 series coupe. It was used, but it was also a Factory Executives car. BMW gives their Exec a free car every year, with any options they want. This one is[u] LOADED[/u]. I'm just like a kid when I drive it. We haven't even tried to get into the back seat yet, much less trying to have any fun. Sure sounds great, tho. If anyone knows a spinner who'd like to experiment, let us know.
