Lava is known as a local Idaho and Utah swingers destination and there are many there every weekend. The problem is you need to have your meet ups scheduled before arriving as it's almost impossible to sort the LS from the vanilla on site. Risqué Soiree held an event in Lava last spring that was very fun and well attended, we hope they do it again this year. It was a great event for those new to the LS or anyone wanting to meet friends. Also because it involved both Idaho and Utah there was a lot more interaction than many meet ups where people have a tendency to group up with those they already know. Lava is one of those places you will either fall in love with and visit often, or visit once to say you have been there and done that and never return. But one thing I can promise, and that is if your room is in Pocatello you'll never understand the nuances that make Lava so charming to many. If you want big fancy hotels and everything about your visit orchestrated you would be much better advised to spend your vacation in Vegas as you will not be happy in Lava. Swingers at work... - - Yes it's fascinating, what kind of reaction you will get from people when you realize that you know them from some where else. I (male) had a similar experience on one of my many business trips. I was visiting a place far from home and was searching the local area as I do for someone to meet and try to find a tour guide of the local area. I have always figured why not be a swinger, because if we hit it off then everyone wins, new friends in different parts of the country. Anyway, I arrived at my business location and after about three days of working with this certain gentleman I notice A photo on his desk that was identical to one they had on their profile (different site mind you) now we had been working together for almost a week straight and he was a very nice man. So I pondered how I would suggest that I had seen the picture somewhere else, I figured that a nice little greeting card was the way to go. I politely wrote in the card, something along the lines of "I believe I have seen you and your wife on the site (bla, bla, bla,) and was interested in whether you two would like to spend sometime showing me the local area. Not once suggesting that we play. I gave him the card on a Friday, and I let it go for the weekend, hoping to chat with him and see what their reply would be. When I arrived at my work station on the following Monday I found out he called in sick, and had scheduled vacation for the rest of the week that I would still be there. I never did get any reply other then the cold shoulder. As I said it's very fascinating what kind of reactions you get from people.

Challenging experience and how you deal with it! - - 1st time is never the best, that is why we like 2nd, 3rd, 4th and so times, making friends,(does not have to be buddys, or move in with you) people you can talk to more than about sex... is what really makes the life great... our continuing story.... rich has a severly broken leg right now... the people that are making life work for us for the most part are swing friends, some are on the site... we had just contracted on a house befor rich's leg, closed from the hospital, a couple we have known for a while got a truck and moved us in our new home... the wife of a couple (on this site) has been taking rich to his appointents, which until recently were every day, her husband fix and painted one of the rooms in the new place just befor the move in... rich's best friend, a single male (on this site)has been there, and a single female friend has been too... many other couples have come by and done a little even if it was a ride to get lunch or dinner... and rich really appreciates the sympathy blow jobs... ;) not everyone you play with will make a connection, but trying for that connection is the best part... and for us, right now, if not for the swingers in our lives, we would be lost in trying to works things out.
