I considered addressing this post to Dr. Phil, but as I do not think he really cares what anyone other than himself thinks, feels, or believes anyway, I will simply post it. The last time I checked, Dr. Phil was a man not unlike any other. He does not possess superhuman strength or any other ability. He is simply a man.
It is not responsible, In My opinion, to ever assume that ones beliefs are the only, or correct beliefs. There is a huge difference between believing something and knowing it to be fact and Dr. Phil, again, just my opinion, lets himself forget that.
I would not be upset if Dr. Phil said,

SWMTCPL you used two little words in your original post that opened this thread, "to us". Those two little words accommodate for a lot of variation in this lifestyle. When you say "to us" you are telling everyone how you fit in the big picture of what the swinger lifestyle is. If you read another persons profile or listen to what the have to say as to what their desires and interest are, you know what this lifestyle means to them. If we are open minded enough to understand this, and don't try to force our beliefs on others, who have view's that differ from ours, we are genuine swingers. The most basic rule in swinging is NO MEANS NO. If you are confronted by someone who does not suit your desires, be it because of their looks, gender or the activity, you can always say NO, and go your own way in this lifestyle.

Who in the relationship initiated the idea of joining the lifest - And why? - I lost my virginity to my hubby, and had no other partners Before we married. Church Swingers, are they out there? - - Based on interaction with quite a few people at clubs and on the internet, I believe that people tend to keep their religious beliefs and their temporal lives separate, for the most part. Swinging is not part of their religion and religion is not part of their swinging lifestyle. The Japaneese say that they compartmentalize different things in their lives... I think to some extent we all do that as well. We don't bring our work lives into our homes. We don't bring our sex lives to the dinner table. So religion and swinging are no real difference... They may seem incompatable but if kept separate there might be no conflict. As for looking for a church where one can find swingers...... You probably are sitting next to a family who swings in your pew or the pew in front of you... Swingers are just people who have made a choice to enjoy sex with people who they are not married to or partnered with... So I would be interested as to how someone would introduce themselves to someone at church to find out if that couple swings.... I would think that meeting people who swing at other venues would be the ticket and then seeing if it is extended into their church.... Networking is the best way to meet people and ultimately finding those who are church goers...
