flintstones swingers ? yes or no - - I have had people say I look like Fred. Any Bettys out there?

Just looking for other couples happy with super soft and no swap - There must be more of us out there? - Though a bit defeatist, this started off as a reasonable post, and coming from an understandably frustrating overall experience. I am amazed at the level of ignorance following. Everyone getting all defensive about their choices, where they fall in the scheme of things, what I do and you should too. It's so unnecessary. I experience this in SO many different communities... The LGBT community is judgmental and coarse with Bisexual and Trans people, Western Medicine usually moves to deem Eastern medicine totally ineffective before acknowledging its place or use for anything despite its true benefits, in the realm of Non-monogamy the Polyamorous won't have themselves being mixed up with the 'likes' of Swingers, in the Swinger community soft-swappers are passed up as unadventurous. Time and time again I am shown how many adults truly do live with some sort of high school mentality, who is cooler, buys bigger, more liberal, commits greater, goes faster and farther, it is all SO ridiculous and unproductive. Of course soft-swap can still be satisfying for those who have also done full. I don't think anyone healthy could look at this as a no-turning-back sort of lifestyle. As your life changes and grows so will your preferences and desires. Some of you scoffing at the soft-swappers may find yourself desiring that very thing in the future. And many soft-swappers will evolve into full-swapping. There will always be someone who's views are copacetic with your own, but why aren't there more that are respectful? You can take the time to understand ones position without agreeing with it, and better still, the tried and true "If you can't say somethin' nice, don't say nothin' at all." The ridicule is just not necessary. Best of luck to everyone, in all your adventures. I know we could sure use some. :)

Swingers cars??? - What ya driving?? - MY Summer 1977 MGB with original 68k Miles fully restored. Taken above Capital Hill.

How long did it take to convince ? - - We talked about the fantasy of being in the lifestyle together before we started it. As said before, fantasy and reality are two different things. We weren't ready for a date with another couple yet because we were afraid of expectations or problems arising from things that we hadn't thought about. So, we thought going to a swingers club might be a good way to learn about it. There are no expectations and we could ask advice from others. But, we were so paranoid about running into someone we knew at a club here in Vegas, where we live. So, we decided to check out the possibilities out of state. lol. We went to Sea Mountain Inn in Palm Springs. It was the first time we were both completely nude in front of others. That was a great beginning as we quickly realized that no one was staring at us. We actually became very comfortable quickly. We did notice a lot of sexual activity. But again, that activity seemed normal to everyone there. We met a lot of great people who were willing to give us friendly advice. We commented how everyone seemed so normal. Even though we went with no expectations, we were given an opportunity to be with another couple, who had a nice "no Pressure" style. Privately, my wife and I discussed our boundaries or any other concerns. After we worked it all out, we agreed to play with the couple and loved it! Ten years later, we are so glad we joined the lifestyle. So maybe, you should try coming to Vegas and go to a swingers club. Check out the scene, talk to some people, and form your own opinions. The club will be as tame or as wild as you want it to be.

Poly-Swingers - Moving beyond FWB relationship -
SUMINDYFUN: To attempt to better answer your question, this is what we've experienced/learned in our poly-type relationships... This is so much more of a complex subject than just a quick "blurb", we like to compare it to guessing a 4 combination lock, you know at least 1 or 2 of the correct numbers... but do you really??? You find out an amazing amount about YOURSELF through this process! We have seen just about everything emerge, from complete unbelievable bliss to complete unbelievable hurt. However, what we've learned is TOTAL honesty, trust, respect, patience and absolute untethered communication are key! These things can either make or break it and breaking it earlier rather than later is a good thing, because if it breaks later then it usually means one or more people missed one or more of the fore-mentioned items and will cause much greater hurt because of all the time/work that was put in by the others. BTW, apparently the bliss is much more powerful than the hurt because we keep trying and trying for some reason? Yep, its like a drug and we're addicted! This is why we dont fault any one for not wanting to "step through that door" so to speak. We suggest to any one that they open that door very, very slowly and even walk away for a bit before entering fully. ABCMAN: You hit the nail directly on the head... from our experiences, social conditioning is extremely difficult for most people to overcome.
Thank you BENT! We agree with you 100% on the honesty and communication aspect. We have been so happy in the year we have been with our couple, but there have been some bumps and mis communications along the way. Fortunately we were able to deal with them and learn from them rather well. We realize that a Poly relationship is very complex and risky, but the rewards outweigh the risks for us. Wishing you guys good luck in your search!

Swinger & 🦄 Bait - An experiment to attract swingers and unicorns. - Love your sense of humor, smartflirts. I'd have crawled into your basket while you weren't looking. You'd-a turned around and been asking "who the hell put THAT in my basket?" And I'd have been hoping that there was some kinda rule that once it's in the basket, ya gotta take it home! :)

Dating other Couples - Have you done it? - Been there, done that, have the t-shirt. We know plenty of people who've done it, and done it successfully (up to a point), ourselves included. We don't know of many, if any, where it has lasted for more than a few years and didn't end somewhat badly. It CAN be quite heady and has the potential to take swinging to the next level. Unfortunately, it is also exponentially more likely to crank up the drama factor to eleven (out of ten). Quite often each couple has their own "agenda" (for lack of a better term) that is often at odds with the other couple's agenda. We've seen it frequently cause weird jealousies not only between primary partners but also between non-primary partners and in a few extreme notable cases it has ended marriages. In our case, we were relatively long-term swingers at that point who, although never really super active in the scene, felt like we'd checked off most of the things on our swinging bucket list and were somewhat curious if there was more out there to explore in swingerdom...or if we were sort of done with the scene. The couple we started "dating" wasn't really the kind of couple we usually were attracted to and maybe that was part of the allure. They also had a very interesting (to say the least) dynamic in their marriage that really was at odds with that in our relationship. Ultimately they kept pushing boundaries (started throwing the "L" word around and much more), pushed for more and more separate activities and were insidious in slowly and subtly causing rifts, both large and small, as well as a LOT of drama. We actually didn't even realize how much drama and subterfuge had occurred until we were finally out of the situation entirely. We actually miss them a little, at times, and often wonder if there might have been a way to talk things out and come to a better understanding of how to continue on in a healthier way but they've actually gone on to do exactly the same thing to a number of other couples we know (it's a small world in Utah swinging and word gets around) and it seems to be their pattern. Tldr; It can work. It's quite rare when it works long term. It has the potential for disaster. While it's appealing in many ways we don't really recommend it. YMMV

Mormonmomtok - Tiktok mormon swingers - Agreed! I think it's just a bunch if attention seekers really. Swinging shouldn't be drama, just fun and enjoyable
