Inappropiate before meeting - - I know how I want to deal with it but we need some advice, suggestions, comments on what we should do about this??? A couple contacted us to meet,we exchanger a number of email and phone # to confirm they are a couple. Arranged a meeting date time and place. Everything sounds good so far no red flags, we still have not meet yet. The Mr. of the couple has started to text and sext my Mrs at all different times of the day including at night when she is working NO she was not returning the texts. Remember we still have not meet!!! I think this is inappropriate and crossing a line, my Mrs didn't think it was to bad till last night when he was texting her at work with some very graphic pic and language, that can get her fired in a heart beat. 1.So should I tell him to just cool it till we meet or 2.Tell him fuck you you blew it we don't want to meet any more do not contact us again ever or 3.Call and set up an earlier meet and beet the shit out of him then tell him #2 ya ya I know this is a sex site and we are swingers blah blah blah

Only 12 couples within 100 miles on our search - Just using the search criterion of :non smoking, slim or athletic, 35-55, couples, soft swap yes, st - Just to make sure the point has been made.
RESULTS: Of 8971 consultations, 12% comprised swingers (median age 43 years, IQR 38-48). Overall, STI prevalence was highest in youth, men who have sex with men (MSM) and swingers. Older swingers had a CT prevalence of 10% and an NG prevalence of 4%. The share in STI diagnoses in the older age group (>45 years) comprised 55% for swingers and 31% for MSM. CONCLUSIONS: Swingers comprise a substantial proportion of STI consultations. They are a mainly older age group and form an important part of STI diagnoses. While other risk groups for STI, such as young heterosexuals and MSM, are systematically identified at STI healthcare facilities and provided with appropriate services, this is generally not the case for swingers. Swingers, like other groups with risk behaviours, need to be identified and treated as a risk group in STI prevention and care.
So that means OLDER swingers such as yourselves have a higher risk of sti then bi or gay men. A gay or bi man is more likely to protect him self then a older straight man and woman but they still engage in anal and oral sex just the same. All swinging and adventure life styles are risky not just bi-men/women.

Swingers Vacation Spots - Help us - We've heard that there are quite a few single men at Hedo...but the point to remember is that not all swingers go to Hedo. It's a place to be nude and many swingers are there. We've heard that even if you don't swing, it's the most relaxing vacation there could be. This is another reason we want to attend.....lots of watching others play too....hehehehe. I don't think we've ever heard anything bad about the place at all. It's a resort, therefore there are lots and lots of fun things to do....check it out online. Take care :z

Island Park - Snowmobiling - We have had a couple of people interested but no commitments. Its a quick cheap getaway for all you snowmobiler swingers out there. Let us know Thanks Dave

Single Males - -

...get a girl to join you....Not only do you now "bring more to the table", but you have the added credibility that if you can find and finesse a girl into joining you in this little adventure we call swinging (whether it be a girlfriend, a wife, a second cousin twice removed, or just a hot fwb) you might just not be a giant douchecopter.
Ignoring the need to "finesse" someone and unhealthy gender stereotypes in general, this line of reasoning is a little troubling as it presumes that a male's company is inherently worth less. Or that an absence of semi-romantic relationships somehow speaks poorly of his character. I personally think approaching someone whom you aren't already fairly close with and soliciting to go to a swingers party is a bit out of line. Especially if her company is sought as an accessory to demonstrate to others that he is not, as you say, “a douchecopter”. Call me old-fashioned.
I know we can't be the only people who secretly wonder just a little bit about some single guys and why they aren't with somebody. Do they secretly hate women (yes, we've met some that actually do), are they just too lazy (or busy, maybe...but hey, we're all busy) to find someone, are they serial killers and/or just not very nice guys?
Oh, I hope you are! That's a really unfortunate outlook to have. Promising relationships take time to find, let alone build to the requisite amount of trust and stability to try things like this. In the mean time, I don't see anything wrong with someone pursuing their interests while still holding out for someone worthy of their emotional investment. To me, that behavior is quite attractive should be respected! It doesn't get any better than someone who is confident, self-actualized, and motivated to pursue their desires. Sadly, it sounds their gender influences whether this is seen as a desirable trait. I'm not sure how long you've been out of things (30 years?), but it's easy to forget the struggle when you're comfortable in a marriage. Things are more fluid. People don't feel the need to settle down like they used to.
I know many will say they've tried and swinging is a deal breaker for most women. After almost 3 decades in the swinging trenches meeting and talking to other people, both couples and singles, we would disagree....many, if not most, women could eventually come around to the idea of swinging once they feel safe and secure in a relationship.
This is just confirmation bias if the evidence comes from a sample of people you have met while swinging.
...those of us who DID put in all the blood, sweat, and tears into a relationship and allow it to grow to the point of daring (don't think for a second we aren't risking a LOT in opening up our relationships to other people!) to allow others access to our significant other sometimes wonder why some others want to take a shortcut to all the sweet swinging bennies with little or no risk on their own part.
If you're not comfortable sharing your wife with someone you might view as a potential competition, you definitely don't have to. On the other hand, there are a lot of people enjoy it :) This smacks of the old “you must suffer as I did” chestnut.
Yes, I agree, "finesse" was a poor choice of words. In my defense, I was at work and rather in a hurry to make a point...that apparently I didn't make well (and my attempts to also be humorous apparently fell flat too). Rereading my post it does smack a little of mild gender bias but I can assure you that it wasn't my intent in any way and most certainly is not my outlook on women, relationships or life in general. My intent was simply to advocate approaching swinging as a mutually desirable activity that two partners desire and share equally in. And not that it matters, but I've shared my wife with probably over a hundred men, married and single, and I've never thought of any of them as competition. But I never thought of swinging as "sharing" my wife either, but instead as her deciding to be sexual with another person and me being totally okay with her decision to do so. Sharing her, to me, almost denotes some sort of ownership or at very least some kind of permission that I would have to give. Both those ideas are not a part of our relationship. Perhaps the concept of "competition" in swinging interactions is a single male attitude? I don't know. And I didn't mean it in any way, shape, or form as a "you must suffer as I did" trope but simply as the idea that we invested a LOT of hard work and time making our marriage what it is and together deciding to risk opening it up to the excitement and also the possibility of harm that is swinging. I think, perhaps, that sometimes single people in the lifestyle don't quite understand the very real possibility of permanent damage (or worse) to the relationship that couples who swing are flirting with. For many (most?) of us, our marriages/relationships are THE most precious thing we have. What, if anything, are you risking? A bruised ego?

Is anybody on this site for fucking real or just a bunch of tease - - It seems like there are basically two kinds of swingers. The kind that take their time, carefully read profiles and weigh whether or not they might be a good match with a given couple or individual before contacting them and eventually meeting, and the kind that seem to be more, "Hey, we're swingers and you're swingers so let's swing (fuck)." I understand the frustration that some feel when they aren't getting the results they expected or possibly even feel entitled to but as long-timers in the lifestyle we can tell you that like almost everything else in life, in swinging you get out of it what you put into it. Put in the work finding and communicating with people who interest you (and HONESTLY do a self-assessment to see if you are what THEY would likely want) and you will be more successful. DON'T put in the legwork and expect sex with others to just fall into your lap, or hit up couples that aren't in your age-range and have similar physical characteristics and interests and you probably won't be quite as successful. I think sometimes too many people use the shotgun approach of just sending out a whole bunch of friend requests or generic "We like your pics/profile." emails and are upset when they don't get much of a response. YMMV ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Swinger Study Survey - - Certain folks are NOT understanding what I'm saying about the survey - and they're NOT reading the initial qualifying instructions. It clearly states: "For the purpose of this study, swingers are individuals that are married or in a committed, steady relationship where either one, or both partners, engages in consensual sexual activities with other individuals with the approval of the other spouse or partner". Yes, LRMKRVO, I did read it - and I fully DO understand it. Since you seem to think your reading comprehension skills are vastly superior to mine, please point out to me where the above ALLOWS participation by someone who is not MARRIED, and not IN A COMMITTED, STEADY RELATIONSHIP, who engages in consensual sexual activities with other individuals WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE OTHER SPOUSE OR PARTNER. Sure, I could very easily have taken the survey and pretended I was the male side of just such a relationship, as is described in the criteria for taking the survey. But I'm NOT. And THAT is quite simply what I'm trying to point out to everyone. IF you read the instructions, it's CLEAR that only those in a committed relationship are welcome to participate - thus eliminating non-committed SINGLES of either sex from participation. WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR EVERYONE TO COMPREHEND THAT? And as for question # whatever, I have NO clue what any of the questions are because I did NOT take the survey. I wasn't invited to take it - I am expressly eliminated from eligibility to take it. If you walk up to a door, and a sign on the door says DO NOT OPEN THIS DOOR, how would you know what's inside? The instructions clearly state that I - as a single - am not welcome to open the door, so how am I to know what the questions inside are? FORGET THE SURVEY AND READ THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE CRITERIA FOR PARTICIPATION. That's all I ask.
