swingin - thought this site was a swingers site - As I've said before.... Regardless of the category one slides crap into it still stinks. Little snide remarks about people..their grammer or use of U for YOU or 4 for the word FOUR and other shortcuts used on the web elseware. Maybe this person, the original posted, may be from some other country and has a limited vocabulary and or limited grammer. We are one of the only countries that speak only one language... Try German or French or Vietnamese, Chinees, or maybe Spanish, if that is not your native language. Most people try to communicate and people understand that there are limitations. I understand that this is an open forum here, but forums on other sites have been shut down for lesser crapola than is used here. One shut down when the Gulf war started. Too much about death and opinions on the administration and the why or why not of being in a war. Then that sparked flaming, name calling and more. On this very site someone got very political and there was a call to have that one ousted. He was.. Maybe you remember him. And he used this very forum to voice his opinions..... So... Why do so many think that they are right and some others are wrong? If we voluntarily make things better... we will have a more friendly site and Forum. It's easy to say "if you don't like it don't read it", then why is this post 8 pages long????????????????? It's just that this site has become very controversal in that we love to piss on each other and on each other's thoughts... I got to page 5 and couldn't go any farther... Piss moan, counter piss and counter moan... Good boy or girl Charlie, you agree with me and we together piss on someone else... Think about it...How many times can this go on with adults who should be old enough and wise enough to know that this is a childish pursuit.... What do you think about that... Disabled Swingers - - "Disabled" is one of those heavily loaded but so vague it's actually meaningless words that our pop culture loves so much. This is a subject I am profounding involved in both personally and professionally. For example, did you know that alcoholism can be a disabling disease under federal regulations, and that alcoholics are protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act just like a child with Cerebral Palsy or a quadriplegic adult trauma survivor in a motorized wheelchair? That's a pretty wide range of conditions and causation! Woudn't you agree? I am a disabled veteran. A huge percentage of former NFL football players and professional fighters have "disabilities." Some CURRENT players do, too! I have a quadriplegic friend who has climbed Mt. Everest. I know an Army Sargeant who is serving in combat in Iraq and Afghanistan after losing both of his legs. And I know alcoholics whom I wouldn't trust to take out the trash. So this all seems very subjective, doesn't it? That's because it is! You cannot put people with disabilities in a box any more than you can people without disabilities. Therefore, it is equally impossible to know in advance whether or not you would be sexually attracted to them. You will have to meet them, get to know them a bit, and see for yourself. But make no mistake: "disabled" does NOT automatically apply to sex! One of the most profound Abilities of people with disAbilities, is the ability to adapt and improvise to compensate for their abnormalities. And some disabilities (like bipolar disorder, autism, etc.) are actually the OVER-abundance of things that normal people have and/or experience in smaller doses or less frequently. I'm sure you've all heard of the medical condition "Priapism" by now. This "something wrong with you" is when the male penis remains erect no matter what...the permanent boner. This condition can be painful, embarassing, highly inconvenient, and a helluva lot of fun for awhile! But to the person toting that thing around all the time, it becomes a disability. Get the idea?

Summer Vacation>>>ALASKA??? - Our Swingers Week in Alaska is back!!!! - We operate a fishing (camp) guide service in Alaska during the summer months. In years past we have set aside a week during the season for all of our lifestyle friends to come up and experience the Great Outdoors of Alaska. Disabled Swingers - - I am the male half of a couple. I am also disabled and in a wheelchair. Add to that I am new to the lifestyle. Shelley my other half is a gorgeous BBW (on the smaller side of BBW). She was very active in the lifestyle prior to us getting married. We have had a couple threesomes in the beginning of our relationship. Now after 12 years of marriage I am finally secure enough in our relationship for us to become active again. Yet we are finding it very difficult to actually find folks to play with and or parties that are accessible to my chair. We have had folks online come right out and tell us that if it was not for me being in a wheelchair they would have no problem meeting us. Heck we even had one couple come right out and ask me if Shelley would be willing to play solo cause they did not want to have anything to do with someone in a wheelchair (not from here). So I guess what my question is, is there actually active disabled folks in the lifestyle and are there non disabled couples willing to get together with those of us who might have physical challenges. Political Forum - POLL: Should we bring it into the rotation? - I think its quite cool that a rather large group of people find relatively common interests about sexual openness, sexual play, sexual fantasy etc... it's really cool that we share such an uncommon attitude about sex and yet we have such diverse opinions about Politics (and Religion) etc. Fascinating. Years ago before I knew anything about or anyone involved in swinging I would have guessed that there would have been a more common social thread among swingers but as was mentioned before, its probably a pretty good cross section... So, it seems to me that if we are trying to connect at a fun playful sexual level the last thing we would want to do is find ways to disagree and reasons to disconnect from people by having a special "top five" forum category that is one of the 2 most divisive topics on the planet. It's tough enough to find couples that we connect with at enough levels to be play-friends. So, I'd say, there are plenty of other places to fight about politics (or religion), we don't need it here and since you are asking for opinions here's mine: If you leave it in there will be some well thought out points made but it will be a source of argument, anger, and name calling... we've seen it before, just like anywhere else, people get ugly here too. If you take it out only a few will miss it. There are other places, plenty of them, to debate the un-win-able debates. This is a play place, a fun safe place to escape the mundane and intolerant mainstreamers. We don't need to create ways to find intolerance and anger within this community too. I want to know how sexy and fun you are not what your politics are... (at least not till after breakfast in the morning! wink) As my sweetie loves to say "Be excellent to each other and party on dudes!" :) D

What is is with local couples? - Anyone else seem to have the problem with couples local to where you live NOT wanting to meet? - I think people who do not reply are simlarly afraid about pictures. THey are afraid that locals will recognize them. We are in a very small town where we have been asked upon returning from a social at 3 or 4 in the morning what was wrong.... Then it goes thru the 2 closest neighbors to the south living east and west of each other. Then it jumps west several houses and then North across the street and back east again. Within one day. 7 families now know that we got in at 4am and there is speculation as to why. The neighbor across the street, as I picked up my mail one afternoon, at the bottom of my driveway, starts telling me about a couple, that I do not know from the other side of town, about them fighting and how they poor mouth and then they were eating steak...... Do I care ... why should I, but in this town everyone knows everyone elses business.... But regardless of the size of the town people are afraid that someone will find out....<shishhhhhh> <don't let anyone here> that they are swingers and God will curse them.... You know what they say about small towns and Baptist.... They see everything, hear everything that happens and tell everyone about everything ...EXCEPT that they recognize no one in the liquor store.. or local whore house.
