Speed dating swinging style - - So the reason we (KOIGIRL) and I hosted it was we were tired of the meet and greets where everyone had their cliques. Also the parties we went to were not swinger parties. Everyone stood around until someone got drunk and then there was drama. Not all parties are like this, but the one's we went to were. So we decided to hold the party.
First, we held it at my place. Second, we screened those who attended. there were young couples and vet swingers. We limited it to 10 couples invited (8 showed). We did have some drinks and refreshments, but once everyone got there people drew a number 1-4. There were two of each number. Based on the number you paired off with the couple with the same number. A timer was set for 20 minutes. Everyone went someplace quiet and just talked. When the timer went off, one group rotated. So those that had 4 went to 1 and so on. After a little over an hour, we went into the family room and had a few drinks and were talking about doing a second round. However, this didn't happen as truth or dare started. Almost everyone was naked. There was a new couple who was shy but even they opened up. If anyone was uncomfortable, there were other rooms. It was made clear that no unwanted advances would be tolerated. There weren't instances of this. People started breaking off and going into separate rooms for fun. However.........(speaking of Southern Utahans) We live in a "Jack Mormon" area of the "south" people don't shove religious beliefs down our throat, different Mormons in different places (not trying to bag on Mormons, just a using them to make a point) 50 miles south, they are not as tolerant of us "Non-members"
My point is this......TACT is something you have to WANT to learn and apply to your life, where you live usually only decides how far you can run your mouth before getting punched out, some people tolerate others better over different subjects, you might find more racism in a community that has a majority, the more mixed the culture, the more diverse, the less mixed, probably less diverse (that can be a matter of geography.)

Good feedback. It looked like where the group was camping was not in a designated campsite, but more dispersed camping. Sounds like it would be fun and secluded enough for good times.
How do you spot a Swinger..?! - tell tell signs of the lifestyle - I really think that we should go with the wristband idea because even when I got to our clubs I cannot tell who is or isn't! Here's something Ive been curious about - - I guess with the mind set of some here, IE singles aren't swingers, one could also make the statement that there's no such thing as swingers. Couples aren't swingers, they're just two people who are married and want some strange and talk each other into it. See how this works? And the comment that singles bring nothing to the table but themselves also applies to couples. You can only bring yourself to the table whether alone or with your partner and your partner does likewise. You just happen to do it at the same time. Come on folks we all participate on what ever level we choose and identify ourselves as we want. Like saying a soft swap couple aren't swingers either because they don't go all the way with others. It seems silly on all counts. As a narwhal(single male) who been in it for a decade now it still amazes me to watch all the who ha over such trivial things as definitions.
