When I was a young Second Lieutenant, my unit was sent to do "riot control" for a large march by Hosea Williams and his group...as you can guess, the Klan, skinheads and other distasteful groups planned to (and did) show up to "counter protest"...my unit was scheduled to be deployed between the two groups... The night before, I was talking to my platoon...talking about the possibilities of the next morning when the march/protest...hoping that I might prepare them for the verbal abuse they were sure to endure, we talked about it and how to react...my platoon sergeant (who happened to be black) asked me "So sir...are you saying they might call me Nigger?" Of course, it was said tongue in cheek...he KNEW that is what we were talking about...knew it was going to happen...and simply put us all at ease by just saying it and getting it out in the open...his response was so true: "Sir, those are just words and I really feel sorry for those people who have so much anger and hate in them that their only outlet is such an ignorant display - if they were really capable of expressing themselves intelligently they wouldn't have to resort to that - when I remember that, I realize just how much I feel sorry for them...and it's hard to get mad at someone you pity" - plus, I'm a soldier and I have sworn to protect their right to call me a Nigger"... At that, everyone in the room laughed quite loudly...my platoon sergeant was quite the philosopher if you ask me... How did you meet your mate? - - Chrissy and I first "met" in a Yahoo chatroom that we were both members of. We were both with others at the time, but, that soon changed. We first actually met at a Meet & Greet in Scranton, PA in August 2004. She had her boyfriend, and I was there with someone, but, I was instantly attracted to her. I then hosted a Meet & Greet in Bensalem (Philadelphia), PA in October 2004. We had about 50 people attend, and Chrissy was there alone, and so was I. We went to a diner for breakfast after the M&G, and got chatty. After the party, we contacted one another daily thru IM, and that Thursday, we agreed to a date. I drove from Newark, NJ to Philadelphia to take her to a local bar, where there was Karaoke. She is an awesome singer! We stayed at the bar until closing, shared some intimate moments, and I took her home. I drove 70 miles back home, arriving at 4 a.m. I slept one hour, and went to work. After work that Friday, I again drove down to her in Philly, and brought her back to Easton, PA, where I lived, and we attended a M&G in Allentown that Saturday. We let the group know we were a couple, and the rest is history. We have been together since, and Chrissy moved in with me in January 2005. We now reside in Northeast Philadelphia since February, and marriage is on the horizon! We are no longer active in that chatroom, but, we still go to M&G's, although now they are thru sites like this! We are very happy together, and we love the swinging lifestyle. Why do they run? - Why do most couples run when you suggest a real full swap? - Like what was said in the post above..we are not looking to replace our mates. It\'s not the fear of replacement for us either. We tried the first time on sepreate beds, and neither of us liked it very much. We both missed each other as we could hear each other but not see. When we all moved into one bed, it was a million times better. I must confess that I get more enjoyment watching my wife get or give then I do getting it most of the time. Church Swingers, are they out there? - - Based on interaction with quite a few people at clubs and on the internet, I believe that people tend to keep their religious beliefs and their temporal lives separate, for the most part. Swinging is not part of their religion and religion is not part of their swinging lifestyle. The Japaneese say that they compartmentalize different things in their lives... I think to some extent we all do that as well. We don't bring our work lives into our homes. We don't bring our sex lives to the dinner table. So religion and swinging are no real difference... They may seem incompatable but if kept separate there might be no conflict. As for looking for a church where one can find swingers...... You probably are sitting next to a family who swings in your pew or the pew in front of you...
