We like to think that we're doing what makes both of us happy. If that makes us swingers or polyamorous, or whatever, then that's cool with us. Our label we give ourselves isn't important, nor do we care about it.
We beg to differ. That label is important from certain standpoints. Now, if you meet us and tell us you are a poly couple seeking a poly relationship, we can tell you it won't go far since that is not what we want. That way, you know it isn't going anywhere fast and so do we. No need to drag it out for a while and then "I thought you...." or "I got the impression.....". If I am looking for a certain type of relationship, isn't it better to know up front and not waste anybody's time and get hurt feelings?
Disabled Swingers - - We have actually encountered a somewhat local couple who we really like, and she is in a wheelchair. I'm ashamed to say that we have not become very close, other than being friendly at parties as we're unsure of what is expected and what her "disability" is. Personally, I think it would be much easier to "approach" an obviously "disabled" person/couple if there was some sort of specified background on the disability and its limitations and requirements for that person- sexually speaking.... (Perhaps a basic run-thru in your profile?)
I know that several people suffer from different "ailments" that can sometimes be frustrating to potential sex partners. I myself (female half) have rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia and severe colitis - none of which have responded well (if at all) to treatment. These seemingly small (compared to being in a wheelchair) ailments can have a big impact on my sex life! I cannot always be trusted to show up at a party, and when I CAN, I'm often hurting so bad that "playing" is out of the question. When I DO play, I tire more quickly than I'd like, and certain positions are out of the question. Often, meeting for dinner is uncomfortable with the digestive "issues" that follow eating... etc. etc. So when we become friendly enough with people we might be interested in playing with, I have to be up-front and let them know what they're dealing with... even tho my problems may sound trivial, they're not to me, and they can and DO end up affecting my sexual performance and my social life, or lack thereof!
I don't like to say much, because to me it sounds like "whining" and the last thing I want to be is a whiner! However, we all need to realize that everyone has their own problems, obstacles, issues, etc and when we know what we're looking at, we can decide if it's going to be worth the effort to try and establish a sexual relationship. If people are aware of what you CAN do, they may be more willing to become involved. And if they're not willing to work with you and understand that you've got some limitations, but that you've still got alot going for you.. then you're probably better off without them. Hosting a swingers Party - - Why not preceed the lifestyle party with a lingerie party or a toy party. Adam & Eve have an operation with local reps who go out and have house parties. Also several lingerie companies have similar set up where they come out with lingerie. Make sure the rep knows it's a lifestyle event and that if they are in the lifestyle they can bring their SO for after the presentation. Most people now accept parties in the neighborhood like Pampered Chef or Tupperware or lingerie parties...and if a close neighborhood friend finds out and wants to be included all you have to say is that it's a club thing and you are not the hostess... But a party like that is also an ice breaker.. have coffee and softdrinks some cake and or cookies and depending on the group hot wings(which could make for an interesting night....for some lucky souls..We try to keep alcohol to a bare min for several reasons.... People have to drive home... The presentation starts during the afternoon so the swinging starts early... Alcohol also dulls the sex drive... and alcohol can be a reason for the local constabulary to break into the event. If no alcohol is present and noone goes outside then there is very little that the law can do... A way to get a party started and a fun evening for all. make sure that condoms are available... Next time one of the other couples can hold the party.. One couple had a party like this in a 14' X 65 foot single wide with plenty of room for 8 couples... Notmal house should be absolutely great.

Amusing Story about bad planning - Notice nobody asked the swinger\'s opinions - Let\'s see, 13 and younger wandering the hotel on New Years Eve un escorted by parents. Where were the parents and why were they not doing a better job of keeping track of the kids? There are far scarier things in hotels late at night than swingers. Recently, right here in Orlando a pedifile was arrested after attacking a teen age girl.
STD Testing - How often are you tested? - The only thing is that the test results are pretty much only good for the day they were done. Unless someone gets tested and then stays in a vault cut off from anyone else until the test results come back there is no way to determine if they are still STI free. Even accounting for incubation periods an STI test is really only good for that MOMENT when your blood was drawn. Bottom line if you're going to swing first be okay with the real and inherent risks and second protect yourself to the extent that you feel okay with those risks. We do our homework about what diseases are out there and then act appropriately. To us it only makes sense to assume that EVERYONE has an STD (most adults are seropositive for HSV type 1 or 2 which are now almost interchangeable as to where they can and will induce a primary infection) and to protect ourselves accordingly. People that are super paranoid about sex cooties prolly shouldn't be swingers. JMO
Not even going to mention how some VERY common STI's don't have a reliable test and thus aren't routinely screened for.
Swinging and politics. - - Which political candidate do you think would be most swinger friendly?
1) Duh, Trump. Fucker's been married...a LOT, to like supermodels...and likely is banging a few on the side. He'd totally be down with swinging.
2) Bernie Sanders. I mean think about it...socialism? Sharing EVERYTHING in society...including each others spouses? Socialism is ALL about swinging!
3) Hilary. She was totally cool with Bill gettin' a little head in the Oval Office so she'd be fine with leaving all us nasty swingers to our own devices.
4) Mike Huckabee. Cuz...well, cuz...I dunno, maybe somethin' to do with the Bible and concubines or something. Or maybe something to do with Duggars? Fine, that one's a stretch.
5) Cruz or Rubio. Hot Latin lovers, need I say more?
6) This is by FAR the stupidest poll yet, Evil. Politics is serious business and I for one can't wait to exercise my right as a citizen to vote...and maybe have a post-election orgy at my house.
7) Rand Paul. Hey, he says he's a Libertarian or a librarian (librarians are HOT!) or something so he'd be down with a little wife swapping.
8) Carly Fiorina. Yeah she's one hot babe and I can tell she wants it BAD!
9) Lindsey Graham. Cuz, well cuz he's prolly at LEAST bi.
