Why are there so many swingers from Utah? - - Well I think that all of the bases have been covered. Swingular is run out of Utah, it's conservative, we have built up tenstion, the religion... the fact of the matter is WE (As A Couple) are not sure why Swingular is so populated with Utahns. Gloryhole - Any glory holes in northern utah? - So from what I've gathered, Habits is a common place for swingers. Lifestyle vacations - Best place for a lifestyle vacation? - We just went on our first lifestyle vacation to hedonism 2 in Jamaica. We went with a group called young swingers week (OP just meets the criteria) and it was amazing. The resort itself is fantastic, the staff is friendly, the entertainers are very good, and there's always plenty to do even if you decide not to interact with others. And, of course, there's always the other guests.
Contrary to the previous post, only half the resort requires nudity; the other half is clothing optional and the dining areas and front desk require some covering. If you're going in March I'd definitely suggest going swingers week if there's still spots available. They buy out the whole resort (minus a couple legacy rooms) and get to add an extra layer of events for the group. The hosts are amazing. Basically, there's a reason they get something like a 70 or 80% return rate year after year.

Your mistake was that you assumed that everyone was at the same level as you. That's not a stab, but an observation. One of the first mistakes we all make is assuming that because we are all "swingers", we are all seasoned veterans of the lifestyle and have ironed out all the wrinkles in our relationships as swingers.
It is unrealistic to expect everyone to be on the same page, all the time. I agree with you in that we should all strive to be open and communicate everything we can, to our significant other and the other couple, so that everyone knows where everyone stands with regard to swinger interaction. Does this always happen? No. My advice is don't be discouraged. All you can do is try again or move on.
Everyone is guilty of "DRAMA", including you and me, for that matter. More often than not, those that say "Drama Free" are those that are the biggest perpetrators and perpetuators of it. Just my opinion of course. Better luck next time.
