1. I was never trying to convince you to accept a single guy. I was only saying that there are many reasons, to include insecurity, that people don't like single guys. I think that's the biggest reason, to tell you the truth. I was pointing out that it was ok to say no to anything you don't want. However, it's not ok to get in a thread not addressing you to defame and stereotype others because of your unique experience.
2) If you are into "watching" girl on girl, that maybe something the single female brings to the table (for some). In fact, it would equate to what a single male would bring to the table for those guy that want to watch their wife get fucked by a strange dude.
3) It's all a matter of preference. No one should ridicule anyone for their own preference. If you don't want single males, fine. But don't ridicule the single male for wanting the couple.
4) You seem to be addressing my points as though I were directing them at you. I am speaking in general and to those that posted personal attacks and remarks about the author of the thread as though he was some sort of a self-serving asshole for posting this thread. These same people that pigeon hole a group for what the minority do. When we are all here for self-gratification and to say any less would be dishonest. Are swingers moral? - Who determines what morals are? - Speaking of college papers, I actually wrote one on this topic. The "moral" of the story was that sex only becomes immoral if you lie about it. The whole concept of marriage boils down to a contract between two parties. That contract can be written or altered to reflect the preferences of the parties involved. From a religious stand point, "Thou shalt not commit adultery", again adultery implies dishonesty. Swinging does not involve dishonesty, it is an open an honest expression of sex.
Polyamory - polyanorous couples. - We have been in a Poly relationship with another couple for 2 years. There have been lots of great times and some rough times we have had to work through. It takes a completely stable marriage for the spouses and tons of open and honest communication from everyone involved. Both marriages are going on 20 yrs+ Every poly situation is different. Some have very strict rules, however we chose not to have rules. We just have mutual respect for one anothers marriages and each individual relationship between the four of us. If it ended today, I would have no regrets what so ever. Our lives have been enriched beyond belief and our marriages are stronger and happier than ever. I have learned so much about love, relationships, communication, and myself during these last couple of years and I wouldn't change a thing. We started out as Swingers and still have Swinger friends, but we are emotionally and sexually faithful to our partners. Five years ago, I could never fathom loving anyone else besides my husband. The other couple's kids are grown and we still have 2 at home. We will not tell our children the extent of our relationship with our couple until they are out of High School. Some Poly people blend homes and families. We chose not to do that, but do not judge those who do. Poly relationships are very challenging to say the least. It can be wonderful as well. Young Couples, Females 18-25? - We see a variation... - when we first started out in this lifestyle We were both 23. 10 years ago Holy CRAP we werent married yet and we were only experimenting well it worked well for us we're still enjoying it 10 years later. When we first started we had a hard time finding couples like us (our age similar builds etc. ) its only been recently (last few years) that lots of new faces and younger couples are Diving in Face first or leggs spread however you want to phrase it.. and now look at us we're NOW (OLD) LOL Not young and hot anymore (Phfooey on that ) well we have learned its good to go outside your normal comfort zone be attracted to whats in the box and not always whats outside if you want lasting friendships and repeat good times. yeah Sometimes there are exceptions but we try to base it on chemistry and our Feelings for the people not always how they look. If your only in it to get the rocks off By all means Enjoy the ones who look for the same there is so many different levels to this lifestyle there is something for everyone.. Best of luck to the two of you There are young couples like you Most couples in your age group and we were guilty of it too are Not mature enough in thier relationships to truly enjoy this lifestyle they often set rules and limits up which set them up for a bad evening because sometimes people like to break rules traditionally swingers are not quite (follow the rules type of people) Keep an open mind. patriot or not - pledge - I've been reading, with some interest, the pontifications and protestations on the issues of this post. Some talk about morals some about duty some about apothy of people. I 'll ask: What is worals? Are swingers moral if society finds it averant? Is this country based on good Christian principals? Is this current government or administration trying to turn this country into a theocracy? This ccountry was founded so that everyone should have the right to live their life in their own manner, to be free to pursue whatever they wish so long as it does not interfere with others rights and liberties, and to be happy in those rights.
As for religion, here I go again quoting the father of our constitution, Thomas Jefferson said; "I have recently been examining all known superstitions of the world, and do not find in our particular superstition (Christianity) one redeeming feature. They are all alike founded on fables and mythology."
God's be damned, government be damned as well and if we do nothing to oppose bad government we are not patriotic, we are fools who will watch our country drown in it's own bile.. We can talk forever about what is and is not good but until we live what is good and moral, (morality is that principle which basically says "do no harm" like the doctors pledge) but until we apply true morality to our own lives and speak boldly to government which rules in fear and demogogery and to business which thinks that God is a dollar or a yen or any other form of currency, we will be be responsible for our own plight....
Just a thought or two... Since we do not study history or at least it's tennons we will be forced to repeat the mistakes made before....
