An out of this world (or state) encounter - swinging parties - The problem we have noticed in Utah is that there
seems to be far more wanna be swingers than actual
swingers. There are quite a few who think if the
girls kiss or show their titties then they have had
a great swinging evening. To us it is a lifestyle not
a fad & the cool in thing to pretend to do. We almost
always avoid house parties & private parties for this
reason. In fact we almost prefer finding new couples
& singles in a regular club & converting them over
to swinging over meeting playmates here because
it's easier & usually less drama. Not to mention it helps
weed out the wanna be's & the ones who used a 20 year
old photo that was taken when they still had teeth or before
they put on that extra 125 lbs.
Bubulaplease - Sandy station? - We went to Sandy Station and were immediately approached by someone who knew we were swingers. I guess we just give off the " I'll fuck the shit out of you." vibe. KUTV News Story on Swingers - News - I can't say too much since we were Mormons when we first started swinging (still are, I guess,...technically). But it's been hilarious over the years to meet so many LDS couples who played HARD on Sat. night but left the party early to get up for church the next morning. The REALLy funny ones were those who would email us on Sunday night telling us they were going to quit swinging (Sunday guilt?) and then about Wednesday write us asking where the party was going to be the next Saturday night. One couple we knew did this almost weekly! LOL

Wishbones - - Since we joined the lifestyle we've thought the idea of a symbol of some sort was a great one. I've read about the apple, but not the wishbone before now. I think swingers are in a good place for this right now - the internet has made it possible for those with an interest to pursue it, but it's not mainstream enough so that people who are in it "stand out." Pretty much everybody knows about the rainbow now, but I think very few would know about a swingers symbol, for a while anyway.
Whether it was the rainbow or what ear the earring went in as a sign for gays, or I believe at one time the BDSM community used bandanas to communicate preferences, it's great to have a way to be tipped off that others share the same interest. It'd be nice if this takes off.
