Our point originally was that perhaps these people aren't really as fake, as they are private. I think the scene here is actually still doing quite well! It's just changing. In our case, we're just not as "out there" anymore as we used to be....And kind of feel like maybe that's true for a lot of folks. And maybe it's our age...we are 10 years older now...and not exactly in high demand. That said...we just may have to do a bit of whale watching in Portland, someday.....
Orchard Place - Event info - Ryan and Kara are top-notch hosts and the venue is by far the best in Utah for swingers. It's the closest thing we have in Utah to a swingers club -- but it's better because it's clean, comfortable, low-pressure, the music is not loud (so you can actually chat and get to know other couples), and it feels a lot like a low-key meet & greet with a little bit of a charged sexual atmosphere.
The crowd trends towards the younger side (mid-40's and below) but there are a few older folks there.
WAY better than habits.... but we hate loud music and dancing... so... ;)

Cuming out of the Swinger closet - - We have to agree as well. If we are trying to convert or suspect that they are in the LS then we might hint, or make comments just to see where they may sit. But its part of OUR intimate life. Why would we want all to know? Not that its a bad thing, because it isnt. But I could only imagine what many would say, and blow out of proportion. The is a need to know basis...Sadly one of my step-sons knows... He was floored, but suspected. Come to find out one of his best friends parents are swingers and suspected that we were.
