Why.. because you don't get it!!!
The reason we need more people to talk about this is people are getting STD's on this site and others like it. I applaud Rob and his willingness to do what some of you may think is not needed. Toki is a prime example of why you don't play with just anyone!
Sure you can't stop everything all the time, and frankly anytime you have sex with multiple partners it's a risk. But let's not be stupid folks, let's be careful. You only have this life to live, why fuck it up for yourself and the one you love because you are stupid?
PS.. I wrote a long post a few months ago about our own experience with the STD issue. I received a number of posts about others who carry HSV2. Interesting thing is some of these people who have HSV2, DO NOT always tell their potential partners they have the disease. Why? PURE IGNORANCE or just they don't give a shit (which is worse).

But in the meantime, until all potential risks from having sex are wiped out, reminders to get tested, practice safe sex, and having open dialogues are not going anywhere. If it reading about hits a nerve perhaps you seriously need to ask yourself WHY. And then GET THE FUCK OVER YOURSELF.

Whats good for the goose is good for the gander... - - Our experience has been that swinger in general seem to be nicer and more open than their prudish cousins. However we must remember that swingers are still a cross section of society and we all know that society in general is well stocked with assholes and unfortunately some will spill over into the lifestyle. All we can do is ignore them and hope they disappear quickly.

Honesty - parallels? - The topic of honesty (more accurately, lack thereof) has been prevalent in recent political posts - for good reason. Everyone would like to see more openness and honesty from the candidates.
That sounds similar to one of the most common complaints among swingers.

Yeah, ya know, I wouldn't take much to heart when it comes to comments from Utah in regard to anything racial...this is about the Whitest State in the US.
I honestly think that a lot of folks feel threatened by Single Males. Perhaps they've forgotten that they've been single? Forgot what that's like, maybe. Or maybe they were never single in this lifestyle. It's a tough crowd for a party of one.
I'm lucky enough to have been a single male in this lifestyle a couple of times. It taught me A LOT! I simply filled a niche and had a blast (and wasn't really lacking play...due to the niche).
And then there's Don...oye. Man, I'll send Ms. K_T over to drill a hole in the bottom of that bottle Don. We'll get it outta there in no time!

Hanging out this weekend - Habits tonight?? - We enjoy it if there is a couple we are interested in they have sections that aren't so loud that you can talk. But yes it is loud. And we have run into lots of swingers there lots of times. But I hear that a lot I think most people don't talk to people or just walk up to a stranger(s) and say hi. Whether Hugh coined the term or not, and whether it did mean couples activity early on, that definition has changed through out the years. Especially with the new generations as it's become more acceptable to be in threesome and foursome situations. Look at MTV, etc... Swinging is a lifestyle and it doesn't make you any less of a swinger if you are single or if you choose to surround yourself in it but are selective in your choices.
