I say this... 1) So what? Is your wife not capable of handling herself? 2) Are you not capable of saying, "Hey, Sorry man, we're not into single guys." I see that as no different that taking care of a couple you're not interested in. Quite frankly, there are far more asshole, disrespectful men in couples that we've encountered, then the single variety. I wouldn't pack up and leave just because there is a single guy there. Just like anything else, if I found that this club has single guys there and I don't like them, I can not go to that club and find another more to my liking. Actually, yes. She is too nice to them. Then when I come back from taking a piss, I have to do the dirty job. She signs up for trial stuff and if she doesn't like it, it gets cancelled. Unfortunately, my job is to be the heavy. She, like many women the bouncers tell us about will tell the guys "not now. Maybe later.". Well, later comes along and so do they. However, because they didn't say "No thanx", if they bug her, the bouncer can't do much. That is why the club bouncers always ask the girls "Did you say no thanx" or "not now"? If it is the former, they will tell the guy off. If it is the latter, they will tell the girl "Next time, say NO. If he still bothers you, I will eject him." Unfortunately, I am. Which is why I tend to get the dirty job. When the wife wants to return something, it too is my job. When she wants to buy something and the store is pretty dead, she feels sorry for the salesman and I have to go do the dirty work. Actually, we have found the reverse to be true for us anyways. However, like I said before, even though they are more trouble, they bring things to the table that we are both interested in so the greater risk is worth it for us.

Club Zu Key West Rant - - Here's our take on Club Zu or as the locals call it Club Pu. It's the worst bar on the island and it's only a matter of time before it closes. The only reason they've been open as long as they have is because they try to high pressure sell you into paying the $200 so you can go into the back room which never has any people. We've been in there 4 times and will NEVER go back. The owner is the rudest person we've ever met and it trickles down to his bartenders. No smiles, no hellos, no nothing, just give us your fucking money. He wouldn't know what a swingers club was if it smacked him on the back of the head. Don't believe the bullshit about not wanting customers to get to drunk so they don't have premium liquor. The truth is they don't have a full liquor license and don't have ANY liquor (the owner didn't want to spend the extra money to buy one) so they serve you beer or "wine based liquor" what the fuck is wine based liquor???? And they over charge you for it, how about $40, not including tip for 2 glasses of house wine and 2 of their fake margaritas which were nothing but sour mix. Nowhere in Key West do drinks cost that much and taste so shitty. And the reason they have ESPN on the television screens is simple, the owner is clueless about what he's doing. They used to have porn on the screens, but they like to keep the front door open... so people walking past the bar could see the TVs and someone complained. So the genius that owns the bar... instead of just "closing the front door" he decided to put on ESPN in his so called "swingers bar". Brilliant move, that will sure set the right mood. Also, nothing like rap crap playing to loud coming out of the speakers to set the mood for swinging. This place is so bad it's laughable. The final straw for us was the last time we were in there we ordered a beer (couldn't handle anymore $10 glasses of sour mix) and went to sit down on one of the lounge chairs... I sat down and the chair was wet, put my finger in it to see what it was and it was urine!! Someone had pissed all over the chair!! That explains why the club always smells bad and everyone calls it Club Pu!!!! All we can say is, buyer beware!

Statement From Swingular Regarding CW Article - How to protect your privacy. - We've been keeping a close eye on the issues surrounding the recent article by City Weekly. We've decided to post a statement regarding our stance on this issue and also help our members understand how to better protect themselves from this and when future issues arise. If they say they have, then the person they talked to was not truly a Swingular representative. If Swingular had been contacted by anyone concerning articles about Swingular or swinging in general, our official position is to say 'no thanks' and pass on it. However, that does not mean that those requesting to do the article will find the information they are seeking, one way or another. Just like you can find an adult dating site, so can anyone else. Otherwise, these types of sites would not be in existence if nobody could find out about them. We cannot stop those who wish to investigate the world of swinging and from them telling the rest of the world about it. Every time somebody does an article or spot on the evening news about swinging in the local scene, are we supposed to lock down, run and hide? It's going to happen no matter what you do. Only paying members can see your full albums and only your friends can see your private albums. I don't think many people are going to pay for a membership just to find out if their friends and family are swingers. I'm sure they don't want their hard earned money profiting a site like this. We have been in this business for over 8 years and have seen it all and we can tell you it's more paranoia than anything. What it comes down to is what you need to do to be able to enjoy this site and at the same time, protect your privacy. So we have come up with some things that you can do to be able to move forward and not worry every time someone or some reporter starts talking about the lifestyle. 1. Use a unique username that none of your non-lifestyle friends know of. If you need to change it, please contact us. 2. Do not post anything that can identify you personally in your profile descriptions such as addresses and phone numbers or visible tatoos. 3. Post faceless pictures in your public album. Make sure you don't expose anything on you or around you that someone can identify. You don't need to post cartoons or backgrounds, etc... Nobody is going to figure out who you are with faceless pictures. If you need help editing your images, contact us and we will edit them for you or recommend someone who can. You can also use a free online photo editing site such as www.picnik.com. 4. Do not post any identifiable information in the forums just like I mentioned in #2 above. 5. Use caution when adding friends. Get to know someone first. 6. Use caution when allowing others to see your pictures. There are a lot of picture collectors and fakes out there so if you get a request to see your private album from a couple or single female, voice verify first by phone. 7. Use caution when sending or replying to emails. Use your initials instead of your full names or use aliases until you get to know someone a little better. 8. And last, let these things go. The more you talk about it, the more you feed the fire. I know it's great drama and presents conversation but you're only bringing more attention to the topic. Sooner than later, it will die, if you let it. By following these simple suggestions, you will be able to maintain your privacy and still be able to enjoy using a website like this to meet others. It's not necessary to completely such down your profile in fear. Are you going to do this every time it happens? Well then you might as well just remove yourself from the scene then because it's going to come up again sooner or later. It's inevitable.
