Curious Question - - Mogar, You have just described the lifestyle as it should be and is in many parts of the country... not just UT. It does seem, however, that the people on this site, particularly from UT are very very sexy. There must be someting in the water or that mormons are particularly good looking people... Might have to do with the survival of the fittest.... A long and perilous journey out there and then setting up and getting things started in the wilderness... Only the best genes survive, I guess. Hat off to UT... Sexy women.. I think that many areas, besides UT, are very hot beds of swinging activity.. OHIO, NC, WV, PA is comming out as a hot area.. Do you mix your vanilla and lifestyle friends? - - We tell anyone who is a late night friend, ie: serious friend, vanilla or not that we have an alternative lifestyle. It has made things so much easier. Our vanilla friends are closer. We make it very clear that we don't have any interest in sex with them for concerns about ruining what is a already a good relationship. I am not talking, work vanillas, they don't need to know. I am talking about people with whom we go dancing or bar hopping. Why lie about who you really are? The whole reason for jumping the hurdle that is the "lifestyle" is to be free with who you really are. Then you are supposed to hide it with people who are supposed to really care about you? Nope. Because of this, it is really cute when we throw a party or get together. The vanillas spend the whole time excitedly trying to guess who the swingers are. Most of the time it doesn't take much to guess. This reminds me of what got us started on this course. We threw a mostly vanilla roller skating party with some vanilla friends. Hosting a swingers Party - - Setting up parties can be difficult to do successfully. and yes you have to make sure that it is all legal as well. One way that we found to get around all of this....... have a house party. have it either at your home or a friend's home. Guest must bring own drinks and a dish to pass. We have done lots of these. They work out great. Everyone seems to enjoy themselves better and don't have to worry about the police. Just some thoughts. :) Carrie
