Black Ring - Who has theirs and how have they caught on? - A black ring worn on the middle finger of their right hand is a common symbol of the asexual community. The material and exact design of the ring are not important as long as it is primarily black. The black ring is often associated with people who identify as swingers. However parts of the swinger community have taken care to inform people to not wear the black ring on the right hand, middle finger out of respect of the Asexual community. Plain black rings also coincide with the symbol ? which symbolized asexuality and genderless. This symbol is also often written in black, simple because it's a common ink color. Your right middle means "currently single", the right ring means "currently taken" and since the left ring means "taken/married" in a permanent sense, then the next logical conclusion would be that left middle means "permanently single". Now if you want to be really confuesd try and find a definition for Asexual LOL

PICTURE SURFERS HANG A 180 LOL - - I think what they mean by "friends and MAYBE more" is that they are looking for friends first and if everyone establishes a friendship and clicks sexually more will follow. I guess everyone is different when it comes to the lifestyle and some take it more slowly than others. Some require a strong friendship before playing, some don't. Some feel that they may establish a friendship but one of the people just doesn't click sexually with one or more of the others and that feeling needs to be respected by all. When we first started we were in the mindset that we had to find "best friends" with benefits and quickly discovered that we don't necessairly need to be best of friends, we do need to like the other people though and feel that attitude and personality are very important to us. We've been fortunate enough to maintain a friendship with everyone we've played with and some that we haven't because one of the group just couldn't make it to that level but we still maintain contact with each other. I guess what I hate the most is when you run across someone that thinks that just because you are in the lifestyle and on a swingers site you automatically have to lay down and spread for anyone that asks. Doesn't happen often but seems like we get more than our share of it.

Exotic Dreams Resort and Hotel in Palm Spring - - I know this is not a direct answer, but temptations in cancun was AMAZING. Not a swingers resort per say, But plenty of playing if you want too.

What sets you apart from other swingers - Lets see whos looking for what. - And don't we all just LOVE it when the naked man shows up at the party ;) I know I do... hehe (He looks damn good in my robe too ;) )

Swingers Party - Doesnt mean who ever is there is open to everyone elsa - first and foremost, boundaries must always be respected and no one ever has the right to do things to another person without their permission. however, i also acknowledge that at a party where the intention/perception that playing will or is occurring can create some areas of "unknown". it is important to find out what is ok and when it is ok. for some, that means french kissing within the first few minutes, others may not. i have seen different ways that people have tried to find out. the simplest and most direct is to ask. however, i have seen people do so by "testing the waters" - small hug, then a bigger one, then a peck, then a lingering kiss, then french kiss, etc. and at each step trying to "read" the body language of the other. and i have seen that some people have become so "desensitized" to some of these things that their starting point is further on the scale than others. i dont have a problem with someone trying to open-mouth kiss my wife (even if they have only met for 2 minutes - which she has done with some guys and girls that she was immediately attracted to). i have a problem if they try, she tells them "no", and then they try again. but we go to these parties with the mindset that if there is a mutual interest of the involved parties, then sex is a likely outcome for the evening (unless the party is a "meet-n-greet"). and for us, open-mouth kisses are part of foreplay with our partners. we have even had some parties that we have just "made-out" with some without engaging in sex. ultimately, it is important to find the common ground of what is acceptable for those involved and being respectful of that. it is also important to politely inform someone when they have crossed a boundary. it is unfair of us to expect that others implicitly know all of our boundaries.

If you give it a try, it don't mean you're bi !!!!!! - - judging from some of the negative reaction men get from saying they would at least like to try bi it is not wonder you won't see a lot of men admitting it. The stigma and hostility it brings out in some must really make it hard for some men to even consider it. It is a shame there is a double standard and that folks can't be open minded enough to allow those who want to explore do so without being ostrasized. What open minded people should keep in mind is that the whole lifestyle is about pleasure and having fun. If it is not your cup of tea then I am sure nobody will force you to it. But you shouldn't condemn others because they do. After all I am sure vanilla folks condemn swingers and I am sure the swingers dislike being condemned. Why they would they in turn condemn those doing something they don't like? I mean yeah if something is forced on you then condemn the person. But if they don't do something to bother you then let them do what they want.

closed doors? - - It seems as if the doors are closed to a couple with little or no experience. Why is that? My wife and I have been posting ads on various swing sites for a while now and haven't been lucky enough to find a nice couple or single female to hook up with. Is it that swingers don't want to "waste their time" breaking in newbies or what? We've chatted with a single female who blew us off and a couple of couples who have done the same. We would just love to find a couple or single female who we can actually hook up with. How are you supposed to "enjoy the lifestyle" when the lifestyle won't enjoy you?

Too Many Fake People Here - Nobody really wants to fuck! -

Before we moved to the coast 3 years ago, we were pretty active in the Utah lifestyle, and it definitely seemed more active and vibrant than it does now, at least insofar as we can judge from activity on this website. Back then we would regularly do things with the same three couples, all of whom we met on Swingular, and we notice now that two of their profiles are no longer here on this site. So you might be right, although we hope not, because we had a blast with this in Utah. When we did make the move out of Utah, we switched to another website, as Swingular is strongly Utah-centric. In fact, we've never had a single communication on Swingular from anywhere at all outside of Utah. Hey, if things get too sparse, come meet us in Portland, which apparently is the #1 swinger city in the country. We had no idea about that when we moved to Oregon, but we're not complaining. Go to Privata downtown if you ever have the chance. And if you ever tell anyone that you're not interested in a physical relationship with them, and they lose it (happened to us one time), then they're no one you wanted to hang with anyway. You'll do well to be rid of them. If any of you ever make it to the coast, you're invited to sip wine with us and watch whales from our deck. Best of luck to you. And Happy New Year.
Our point originally was that perhaps these people aren't really as fake, as they are private. I think the scene here is actually still doing quite well! It's just changing. In our case, we're just not as "out there" anymore as we used to be....And kind of feel like maybe that's true for a lot of folks. And maybe it's our age...we are 10 years older now...and not exactly in high demand. That said...we just may have to do a bit of whale watching in Portland, someday.....
When we started nearly 10 years ago, we made MANY more connections through this site. Now...not so much. We’ve changed. The scene has changed. I remember bi-guys being afraid to mention it for fear of outright hostility. We now prefer a connection, and to meet first to see if the connection is there, if they are in fact real, and to see if they “creep us out.” We do enjoy finding new friends, even if it is just for the night, all the better of more than that. And just finding people who are a bit more liberated to share some company even if there’s no play involved is also great. We have much more to offer than a good roll in the hay, as do most people, and the hay rolling is awesome, but enhanced by an intelectual and mutual respect.
