Mormons - -
See what I mean...who wants to question others religious motivations on a swinger site? I find it hard to believe others would fall for this question from the original post. So being in the LDS church sucks for you...move on and find some folks to get naked with.
Right on! This is a pointless, unsexy, and stupid topic to discuss on a site like this! It comes up every once in a while...super “accepting and open minded people” often are the most closed minded of them all. Right on Mormons who explore! ExMo’s, we get your bad feels... but save it for other forums. Who cares what someone’s religion is or was? Protestant, Catholic, Judaism, Muslim, Buddhists, Hindus, JW, Wiccan, agnostic or whatever; don’t knock any of them. Open mind and positive vibes peeps. We feel the same way about political discussions among swingers. Freak, this isn’t a dating website. Honestly if you’re a hater of any religion or political persuasion...save it for other places. I mean we cant stand communists but seriously we’d tap a super hot communist chick...c’mon. As if the LS isn’t lame enough in UT mixing in hate or bad vibes about any religion or lack of is SO narrow minded and UNSEXY. Live and let live. Keep it sexy people. #openmind #nojudgement

Swingers dying out? - Is the utah swinger community dying or becoming to needy? - I don't think it is dying out, by any means. My opinion is a few things are happening. The Swingular community is actually growing...bigtime. Hence the increasing number of events being posted. And yes..most are paid events...for a couple of reasons..to actually pay for the cost of an event..and plain old capitolism. Welcome to America. No real problem. House parties...are alive and well. But...because of the increased number of folks here, things have changed from before. Now, if you post one here..you have a bunch of people respond..most likely too many...some must be told no....hard for most of us to do. Consequently..hosts have become a bit more selective.. and send personal invites..rather than general announcements. Basically...house parties have moved underground. And hosts have become more selective about just inviting particulair age groups, or body types. That leaves many of us out. I know our email box is empty most of the time, unless it is us hosting the party. Just my opinion of course..yours maybe different!

Private Pics and Someone Likes You - what is the purpose. - This is a good topic and I have a few words to go with what has been said so far. For the most part, when the private pics was invented on this site (way back in early 2000), we wanted an easy way for people to add others so they could view them. Because we don't have a 'favorites' feature, people started using the 'add to friends' as a way to 'bookmark' who they thought were possibilities, etc... Thus people getting tons of 'Someone Likes You' messages without further response. I've done it plenty of times especially to build up a list of people I 'Liked' just from what I saw or read so if we ever had a private party, we could invite. Now, after personally realizing that this did not work the way I WANTED it to work and that they were actually two different functions, we've decided to create a new feature called 'Favorites.' Its basically a personal tagging system so you can tag who you think is 'hot' and who you may want to contact in the future. This allows you to keep two separate lists. One for actual friends, another for favorites. Also, because we have the custom photo albums now, you can choose to put your more risque stuff in an even more private folder and selectively add who you wish to view them. THIS IS AVAILABLE NOW. Just go to your photo albums page and click the CREATE NEW ALBUM link. So for those of you who are wondering why you get so many 'Someone Likes You' emails, it's not the fault of the person sending it but rather a missing function on the site. For those of you who get an additional email because you didn't reciprocate, don't look at it right off the bat that these are picture collectors, because there are a ton of people who are real swingers that know they can't hook up with someone '5' states away but can still make a friend and get their jollies from just chatting online and seeing pictures of each other. Who knows, maybe one day that trip will be worth it. With that said, I'm not saying how they approach you is right, no one should be mad or beg to see your private pics just because they allowed you to. I probably wouldn't want to respond back to someone like that either. So hopefully by adding a 'favorites' feature will help reduce some of that. Oh, I think someone mentioned something about the 'send a kiss' feature missing from Swingular as well. That used to be a feature here but it became a very hot topic just like this one and more members thought it was annoying than useful as they also got tons of kiss emails with no further response. So we removed it.

Pete, The Don

Looks like you were wrong all the way around. LOL! You don't know what I am thinking, so that criticism was meaningless to me. Thank you for committing the acts you were trying to accuse me of. That was classic. I need not slander you, you are doing a great job of it. LOL!
Everyone else, please take a look at my initial response to WAAA1101. I answered their post with civility and honesty. Most of us do not want to be dictated to. The people with an issue with non-swinging threads, have the power to avoid them. None of these people have been able to dispute that fact. I challenge them with that very question... What is stopping you from avoiding threads you do not like? Instead of answering, they break the new forum rules by defaming me, calling me names and lying about me (Trashy). What I want these people to do is convince us that they are powerless to move on to things they enjoy. The majority spoke and told these people that we are going to talk about what we want to. Perhaps these few whiners need to move on now. eh? I sure as hell am not going to change my subject matter because a few people have an issue with the subject. They can move to the next thread if they do not like it. If these people wanted things to be cool in the forum, they wouldn't keep bringing it up. We heard your opinion and the majority disagreed. What more do you need? Get over it people. Sheesh LOL.

Poly-Swingers - Moving beyond FWB relationship -
I for one am still not clear what the input is the OP is seeking (and yes I realize he asked this of poly couples)? OP are you asking how you should proceed in the relationship seeing how feelings have developed to a deeper level then just the casual?
Just curious as to what other Non monogamous couples' have experienced when strong emotional bonds to people other than one's spouse has emerged.

Is the coronavirus harshing your swinging buzz? - Swinging while wearing surgical masks! -

We've decided that the BEST way to keep the coronavirus at bay is to strictly follow the new rules of social distancing. Unfortunately, there are enough horny swingers running around that it's really hard. But our new patented procedure of not bathing or using deodorant and eating a diet high in onions and garlic (and never brushing our teeth) is proving VERY effective in reminding other people how important social distancing is. Send nudes and we'll send you a copy of this revolutionary system! Do you only play with married couples? - - I don't think another couple's/two swingers level of commitment has anything to do with it. As long as no one is left out, that's the issue. Who gives a fuck if they're married, dating or just hooking up as swing partners. -D-

Swingers - a couples only lifestyle? - Are singles considered to be swingers? - The above comments are very interesting, and do promote thinking about how it all began. I grew up during the time when 'swapping' was just starting to catch hold. Swappers were married couples, and they did indeed swap partners. Single people were called 'swingers' at that time as they had many partners for sex. Basically singles did not have a steady relationhship with just one partner. An unmarried couple could be swingers, as they could go their separate ways at any time. A married couple did not easily have the option to go separate ways, so they remain swappers unless they got a divorce. Keep in mind that the two terms applied only to those that actively sought out new sex partners, and did not apply to the population in general. Over time, perhaps about 1965-1969, the word 'swapper' became a bit derogatory, so the married ones adopted the word 'swinger' as it seemed to be more lively and exciting sounding. Thus they moved into word usage territory of the singles. Today both singles and couples share the word. The meaning of words and their application change over time in the America language. As an example, the word 'Queer' changed to 'Fag' and later to 'Gay'. It took from about 1940 until about 1988 for the word 'queer' to evolve into 'gay'. It's still the same people, just a different word has been adopted that sounds more happy and exciting. To say a single man looking to get laid is not a swinger, but a single lady looking to get laid is a swinger is totally wrong. Both are either horney, or both are swingers. There can be no distinction between the two. So, where does that leave us? Today both singles and married couples share the word equally. That is, unless the American language is evolving again. Perhaps the word 'Humming Bird' (going from flower to flower for nectar) will become the singles new description.
