Again not a swingers specific crowed, but if you want to meet a lot of single and fun people Liquid Joe's on Saturday night can be a blast, especially if their house band The Spazmatics (or Metal Gods, same group, just different music) are playing. Yup. Tons more bi gals than bi guys. Probably 'cause, for just bunches of reasons, it's a lot more "acceptable" for a gal to like playing with gals than it is for guys to like playing with guys. And, as much as some of us see ourselves as rejecting society's "norms" and doing what we ourselves think is right, or acceptable, we still grew up in that society, had its standards pounded into us for years, and just can't truly get completely away from all of them. Swingers of Color - - I did wonder about that as recently as 7 yrs ago. Today the number of blacks and mixed couples is doing well and increasing everyday. Hispanics are also coming more to the fore in recent years... And the statistics of only a few years ago are now defunct. More and more 45 - 60 yr olds are joining the ranks of swingers. Swingers circle - Whats with them - He likes to get the word out about his parties. Other sites limit how many times he can post his ads, so he is taking advantage of the situation. Bi - - Well, Utah does has one of the highest if not the highest population of gays per capita. So we know there are a lot of bi-men here. But this is still a very conservative state and they like to keep things under wraps. We've found in most religious societies there are large groups who push away or break away from what is socially acceptable in that area. In rural Utah there are some towns that are 100% Mormon, yet in Salt Lake City the numbers are less. I thinks its 65% non Mormon to 35% Mormon. Our profile name is bi-couple, but I (male) am not attracted to men, but to the Transgender. I am more attracted to Feminine energy that the Transgender carries not the Masculine energy of men. We believe that there are three sexes, male, female, transgender. Yes that means that a person could be Tri-sexual. We are a very,very open couple and consider ourselves to be more Polyamorous, than swingers. But we respect all sexualities and lifestyle choices.
I’m defense of single males - Funny old geezers - We are in our sixth year on this site. We are also currently on three more sites, even after dropping two more. When we joined Swingular, we were taken aback from the negativity toward single guys. We did not see this this level of animosity on any other of the sites we are or were on.
Aside from the folks from Idaho and Wyoming (and very, very few nationwide), this site is predominately Utah based. I am not negatively judging Utah since a survey or research was never done, but we had to wonder if this hatred is a Utah thing. Or was it a few couples who made it seem normal to criticize, demean, humiliate; and then everyone just jumped on the bandwagon? Human history has taught us that ostracizing is easier than accepting. Who knows? We certainly don't understand it.
Many couples correctly point out that single guys are not [b]"swingers"[/b] since they don't swap. But, we believe that single guys are part of the [b]"lifestyle"[/b] for many couples. Why is fmf ok, but mfm is not ok?
As a side note: The vast majority of our play is with couples(our preference). But we occasionally like mfm for the different dynamics it offers. We have been very lucky with mfm and haven't had a bad experience yet, which I cannot say is always true with every couple we've met.
