KUTV News Story on Swingers - News - Just watched the story on the news and was EXTREMELY relieved it wasn't aired on a Get Gephardt segment. LOL Yeah, so the lady in question said she decided to swing with her husband to save her marriage after she gained a lot of weight (guess swinging is easier than a diet or taking up jogging) and that they went to "orgies" all over Utah...naming several cities and "even Bountiful" (the story showed the Bountiful temple a few times during the piece- she said being a Mormon she felt very uncomfortable swinging in a home within view of the temple). She also claimed that she was at a house party and the hosts young kids walked in. She says she started drinking because going to parties she felt like she was in the 5th grade where you wouldn't be chosen for a team...her husband was chosen to play but she wasn't. She has to go to rehab for her drinking. Eventually she wanted to quit but her husband supposedly refused and started going out solo and gave her gonorrhea. They are now divorced. Heidi Hatch was the reporter and apparently she started a profile and was communicating with couples here on Singular (yes, they identified Swingular by name and showed numerous screen shots and even some profile names) who wanted to make sure swinging wasn't portrayed in a purely negative manner. I think your doing what they people who classify single males in one group are doing. And broad group everyone. What you covered goes over so many different types of swingers. The fact my wife didn't realize till I told her last month is when it comes to single males I'm so picky. But if single guys wouldn't go against profile requests on this site I think they would have better reputation. So far our swinging experience has been with 4 people, one long term friend who before and after we continued to meet for drinking, meals, bowling, cinema, fire\'s in the desert and just hanging out (no sex). The next we meet a couple of times for drinks and dinner before getting sexual and haven\'t had chance to re-meet yet. Following that it was definatly a one time only (not our intention, but we were lied too) and the verdict is still out on the 4th. Of course we we like #2 & #4 to become friends to hangout with benifits when they happen, but we\'ll have to wait and see.
Does anyone else wonder about this stuff?

It's difficult to advise which club to visit if you only had one night. Not everyone who wants to go to Playhouselv is admitted. They are selective and we have some friends who were denied access. We also have some friends who were approved and absolutely love going there.
We are good friends with the couple that runs Whispers. We actually play them this week in our lifestyle Fantasy Football league. lol. They are a great couple and do a great job there.
The main difference is that Whispers never allows single males, whereas Playhouselv has specific nights when single guys can come.
You can't go wrong with either place.
But, definitely stay away from the tourist trap, Green Door. It's filthy with guys following you around jacking off. No bar, no DJ, no dancing, etc. Red Rooster is iconic for it's dated vintage look. It's busy with a loyal following that caters to an older crowd. It's not for us, but it might be fun to check out because it is iconic. Just keep your expectations low.
We do like going to Risque Estate during the daytime for the nude pool. It's worth paying the extra $20 for a daybed cabana to stay shaded. It's is a relaxing environment hanging out with other nudists. The evenings there are hit and miss.
Whispers has a busier daytime nude pool on the weekends. The atmosphere is more of a party scene compared to the quiet of Risque. Of course, some resorts on the strip have topless pools. But, you have to find the swingers amongst the mostly vanilla crowd.
