How to identify yourself as a Swinger - - Yes, the black ring has been around for decades. Along with white rocks in your yard, flamingos, upside down pineapples, etc. I'm sure these things were helpful and even needed before the age of the internet.
Nowadays, there are so many ways to contact and meet people, I can't imagine the need to randomly bump into to other swingers.
In fact, the black ring is so well known, that that is the reason I DON'T wear one. I knew about it about 18 years ago, well before I ever considered swinging.
So, it's useless for two reasons. 1. Not enough swingers use it to be of much use. 2. Too many non swingers know about it to be very practical. But with the sites and parties and events, there really isn't much need for it anyway.
I'm glad I started all this recently with the internet to use. I really would have hated wearing black rings and putting white rocks and flamingos in my yard and upside down pineapples in my window. :p

Why do people.... - Booty calls - Actually, I know my first post sounded like it was ok, and a good way to find potential opportunities, but really it does seem kind of strange to be posting everyday...understand it is annoying to read the same booty calls over and over. My thought is, their post(s) really only affects them, and has no real impact on us. We have some good friends that we enjoy time with. Occasionally we like to meet new people mostly just to share some time and create new friendships, but it is not the end of the world not to meet new couples.
We probably don't upgrade and change up our profile like many do, but our advertising approach is more like the kids putting up a sign at their lemonade stand, rather than the Lexus commercials; mostly because we are very comfortable with our life as it is. If we were making a living off of our profile we would probably prune it, and hire someone to make me (Mr. Karma)look good. Maybe even bring in a PR firm to find some power words so everyone would wet themselves reading our profile, but eh...love ya' all. Isn't it great that we are all different? Swingers unnerve families at hotel - - We were there also at the Interlude event......Let me assure you No child was able to see any adult doing anything of anykind. There was no \"glass Atrium\" there were however glass elevators.. the Party was held in an enclosed invironment with security.. However to get to your rooms you had to take the glass elevators which are in the common area`s of the Crown Plaza......by the way all of the guest for the Interlude party were booked on the ninth and tenth floors ....Now if any child was exposed to anything it was less than anything they have seen on television or any magazine they can see at a grocery store check out line! Now for the mom who was highly offended ,, Her hubby was probably wishing he was with one of those well dressed lovely women!......Damd I cant wait till Disney Has a swingers pride day like they give all the flaming Homosexuals.... They're already doing that. In fact, having to make changes to the basic site so it clicks with the mobile beta is what's causing a lot of the problems. Just one of those things ytou run into when sdidng somehting like developing a mobile app that's tied in many ways to the originl non-mobile app. I sdo wish, htough, that the site's navigating speed would come back.
And what was Swingring? We've been here a bit over 2 years, and it seems I missed even seeing that.
Looking for Advice - Recently coming back into the LS - Others have told you that you aren't actual swingers. We say, who cares what they think? You are in the "lifestyle" for your enjoyment and preferences. Don't be bothered about what they tell you. However, they were correct that what you want is a "tall order". They may not have been judging you, but just giving you the reality of what you seek. But, be patient. At some point, a unicorn or a wife with a hall pass will join you. It will not be as frequently as what most of us do here, but it will happen eventually. Just keep posting. We really hope you find what you're looking for.
