New Swingers Club in Utah - Gauging interest in new club - I wish there was a club in southeast Idaho.
Why did you become a swinger? - Did you lose a bet? - Well, we all know "why" we became swingers. The question is "how" did we become swingers.
Long before we were in the lifestyle, we wanted to go to a topless resort for a vacation. A friend suggested Hedo. We didn't know anything about the resort, and we didn't have a PC back in the 90s. But we booked the trip anyway. We were completely shocked when we saw what was happening. It never occurred to us that such a place could exist. We ultimately became intrigued and years later, we jumped in.
Frappr Web Toy - A cool free Google thing - That site is neat. I was in there already under my str8 handle in a cycle group but added the both of us to both the cycle swingers and U.S. swingers.
Polyamory - polyanorous couples. - We have been in a Poly relationship with another couple for 2 years. There have been lots of great times and some rough times we have had to work through. It takes a completely stable marriage for the spouses and tons of open and honest communication from everyone involved. Both marriages are going on 20 yrs+ Every poly situation is different. Some have very strict rules, however we chose not to have rules. We just have mutual respect for one anothers marriages and each individual relationship between the four of us. If it ended today, I would have no regrets what so ever. Our lives have been enriched beyond belief and our marriages are stronger and happier than ever. I have learned so much about love, relationships, communication, and myself during these last couple of years and I wouldn't change a thing. We started out as Swingers and still have Swinger friends, but we are emotionally and sexually faithful to our partners. Five years ago, I could never fathom loving anyone else besides my husband. The other couple's kids are grown and we still have 2 at home. We will not tell our children the extent of our relationship with our couple until they are out of High School. Some Poly people blend homes and families. We chose not to do that, but do not judge those who do. Poly relationships are very challenging to say the least. It can be wonderful as well. Just my bit :)
What is up with Utah?! - Swingers in Utah and nowhere else? - We just moved from Utah to Florida, hopefully we will meet and make some new friends here! We sure made alot of good friends there and do really miss all of you, I dont know if I will be able to convince the other half to go back for visits or not . Any way Utah does have alot of fun,nasty, exciting couples. We hope to find that fun here as well . D and J
Age - New to the swingers community - is age a factor in how a couple is viewed? - We tend to focus more on an overall package deal, rather than choosing to focus on one parameter specifically, such as age. Personality and intellectual attraction combined with levels of physical attraction sometimes make the issue of age a moot point.
Black and white generalizations are something we prefer to avoid when referring to those we encounter in the lifestyle, i.e., younger ones are always too immature or clueless, older ones have no stamina, etc.
Diversity within the swinger community is too great to even attempt such broad categorizations. Besides, what potential fun/friends are we missing out on because of that?
Honestly, we have found younger couples to far exceed their years in relative wisdom, often surpassing those that are well above their age group. Inversely, my wife and I will outlast most party goers ten years our junior.

At what point do you out yourselves to family and friends?? - - I really don't think it makes that big a difference. What ever you are comfortable with is what you should do. Me personally, I let the people I work with that we are swingers, after they had guessed. Didn't see any reason to lie to them. Hell I was hoping to get in the pants of a couple of them. I don't think there is a right or wrong answer.
