Small Town - Speak Out - We live in a small town in Texas. We have (according to the profiles on several swing sites)
about 35 swinging couples within 20 miles of us.
We are business owners in our town and have somewhat clear face shots on our profile.
None of the other couples have pics at all.
Since putting our face pics up our business has had an increase in the past 2 years .
Our biggest problem is we send emails to those couple that are nearby and never get a response. Heck our next door neighbor has parties about once a month and we are sure they are swingers but we are never invited.
We understand about people losing their jobs in some cases, but heck WE live in the middle of the \"BIBLE BELT in Texas.\"
We have a commissioner that lives about 2 miles away that is trying to shut down the G-RATED strip clubs in our county. (Stripping down to panties and pasties) and he fights stores that have EASYRIDER magazine on their shelves.
The most hilarious thing is he is one of our customers and comes to our annual customer BBQ\'s........lmao
does anyone else go through periods of doubt? - as to whether this lifestyle is what they want? - You sound perfectly normal to me. Some people need a real connection with a person to make a connection, whether it be physical or otherwise. Some swingers (especially the men) can just do it with anybody, it's just something new, that's good enough. Personally, I like to have a strong physical attraction to someone before I consider sex with them. Another thing you mention, I believe is also similar to me, I'm a giver, not a receiver. They're already doing that. In fact, having to make changes to the basic site so it clicks with the mobile beta is what's causing a lot of the problems. Just one of those things ytou run into when sdidng somehting like developing a mobile app that's tied in many ways to the originl non-mobile app. I sdo wish, htough, that the site's navigating speed would come back.

SwingRing was a n app made by BMSHELL that utilized parts of the Swingular site and more easily facilitated couples contacting each other, knowing what was going on, even had a Facebook like front discussion page. But when Swingular made it's biggest changes a few months back their content was no longer available to the SwingRing app so it disappeared (best I can tell), only to be replaced w/ a crap chat app our membership pennies were probably wasted on but belongs to Swingular.
SwingRing didn't put money directly in Swingular's pocket, only helped their members and so it had to be done away with.
Vegas clubs / club attire - - We lived in Vegas for about three years, the perfect parties we're not all that great, we found a few friends and would either go to the swingers circle or whispers... the red rooster and green door were really over rated unless you there during a large weekend EDC or CES convention. weight approperate - - Usually, I am not very active in the forums, but I feel that I need to respond to this particular thread.
We think that the majority of the people in the lifestyle today do not understand the background of the term "swingers". It is simply "Hedonism". Enjoying every physical aspect that one can. If an individual or couple decides to limit themselves to HWP, then that is their collective choice. We should not look down upon them no matter what. These people have set their collective limits and must live with them. That is the whole principle of our lifestyle. INDIVIDAUL/COLLECTIVE CHOICE.
As the husband of a very BBW, I believe that there are folks out there for everyone. If there are people that restrict themselves too much, then they are bound for endless searches and will miss out on meeting alot of great friends and lovers.

Several apps like that HAVE been developed. One was actually offered to members of another swing site we're on. It failed miserably because people wouldn't, for various reasons, use it. We never used it personally. Some people apparently thought the potential for being outed as swingers was too great to risk using it. Another app was written by a friend of ours and it supposedly had some safeguards in it that he had designed but Apple wouldn't allow it in their app store...I guess because it's purpose was to help people swap spouses. \_(ツ)_/¯
