Difficult in finding Couples or single Males/ Females - - Hawkeye we know what you mean seems as though the cpls you are compatible with always seem to live far away we have plenty of swingers in our part of the country but most think we are too old for them we look in better shape than those who say we are too old lol. STD Testing - How often are you tested? - The only thing is that the test results are pretty much only good for the day they were done. Unless someone gets tested and then stays in a vault cut off from anyone else until the test results come back there is no way to determine if they are still STI free. Even accounting for incubation periods an STI test is really only good for that MOMENT when your blood was drawn. Bottom line if you're going to swing first be okay with the real and inherent risks and second protect yourself to the extent that you feel okay with those risks. We do our homework about what diseases are out there and then act appropriately. To us it only makes sense to assume that EVERYONE has an STD (most adults are seropositive for HSV type 1 or 2 which are now almost interchangeable as to where they can and will induce a primary infection) and to protect ourselves accordingly. People that are super paranoid about sex cooties prolly shouldn't be swingers. JMO
Not even going to mention how some VERY common STI's don't have a reliable test and thus aren't routinely screened for.

I guess that was the point. What does religion have to do with swinging? Are you not seeing how many of the flock or "birds of a feather" have strayed from the traditional path of christianity? A path that the christian bible forbids. It's perfectly understandable that your post would cause such a conversation to occur.
Don't get me wrong. I am in no way judging you. I am just saying that I can see how some would question your loyalty or dedication to a religion that strictly forbids adultry. I could give a fuck, because that is up to the individual and their deity or dogma. I don't think it is for anyone to judge, just as you should be comfortable with no one taking your dedication to the faith seriously.
The bottom line really is, do you care what others think? If not, why try and find commonality in "back sliders" amongst swingers? Do you need the comfort of others that are taking the same journey away or astray? I think those are the questions that peak when these types of threads are born. Again, I really could care less about the level of your faith. As I am in no way a religious person.

Distances and meeting swing partners - - Some of the most fun we have had was with cpls just passing through on vacation :-) Other than those travelers we limit our play to within a hours drive except of course when we go to a snow ski resort and setup fun with other swingers who love to play in the mountains.

Isn't It All About Marketing? - Interesting what people post in profiles and pictures - I find all aspects of the lifestyle interesting. One of the most interesting is what swingers post on these types of sites - who they are, what they are looking for, and their public and private pictures.
Isn't it all about market ourselves? I will not make any judgmental remarks here, because we should not be judgmental in the lifestyle; however, sometimes I wonder what they are trying to communicate.
Because I am a professional website designer I probably look at things differently, also because I am a voyeur I like to see good quality images - ones that show me something about what can be expected in sexual play.
I also wonder if I am reading/seeing more in things that are posted than are really intended - i.e., personality, intelligence, playfulness, etc.
