Swingers dying out? - Is the utah swinger community dying or becoming to needy? - We agreed... swinging has greatly slowed down in the last few years, and it can still be fun, but not as fun and open minded as it used to be, We can see the point on the opening statement, and it you had been into swinging for longer of 5 years you need to admit the scene has changed, the events are more center on the money and getting more pricey over time, and it's not about the money to us and some comment we read that "if $30 to $50 is too much you have bigger problems" it s not the money but the value of the experience. We go on business to Vegas every other weekend and take the time and advantage of the opportunities there we spend 10 to 20 times the money we would spend here in Utah but it's worth it, i bet the events organizers here are great... all we are saying it's not like it use to be a few years back we miss those times...

WHY????? - - 1. I have seen a lot of talk here about grammar and correct spelling. How the people that don't have that down pack other's more educated would not listen to or spend the time on reading their post because it means they don't or didn't have the right schooling.... no not the right schooling but their votes sure count. 2. I've seen people calling other fellow swingers that share the same lifestyle call others redneck's, especially if they are from the South. Guess what they also vote. 3. I see a lot of talk about America being a racist country for hundreds of years, yes that is true and we all know that. Finally people have been opening their eyes to see that America is a melting pot and IF MOST of us look at our ancestry, we might have a little bit of Indian, Spanish, African, Irish, Dutch, German and so on. I know, I did it, born and raised in the small Island of Puerto Rico with a grandfather that is Dutch(his fathers side) and German(his mom's side) and a grandmother that is an Islander Indian(dad's side) and Spainard(mom side) mix. They got married in New Jersy in 1943, can you imagine the racism they went through, I can because I heard the stories out of their own mouths. All races that are US citizens also vote. 4. We are putting people down for the things mentioned above. People that have much more education that what I have or others have. One way or another isn't all of the above a form of discrimination? no am not pulling the racial or discrimination card because am spanish... I don't give a rats ass about that.... Single Males - Question - As aggravating as it sometimes is, we don't do the block single males option because one of the first swingers we ever had contact with was, and still is, a single guy. On another site we were on we blocked single guys and never heard from our friend, even though we sent him messages from time to time. We finally got an email at our regular mail telling us he couldn't respond to our messages because we had blocked not just the cold messages from unknown guys, but even replies to our own messages. So, if you ever decide to contact that single guy that catches your eye, make sure you unblock or you will never get a reply.

Why so much hate in the swingers world... - - Maybe the more appropriate question is "Why so much hate for single males in the swinger's world". One of the issues could be that they are seen as diners who bring nothing to the table. Yes, you might say there is something for the lady so all is good. However, the issue is "What do they bring to the table that the host wants?". If the husband is being left out, do you think he is going to be happy? Once or twice, maybe. If many times he will not be happy and she will not be either. Yes, some couples are looking for single males only because of some reason or other. Many are wanting it to be an all way experience. For us, the risk of the baggage outweighs the potential gains. Why? Because the few times we tried it, we had a bad time. So, what is our incentive to go ahead and try again and again? Well, you could say that there might be a bunch of good single guys just around the corner if we just tried again. Fair enough. However, since we both are not really interested in single men or single women, the gains would be slight, if any. For a couple that is not interested in a single male, what is their benefit? Probably little, if any. So, how would you go about enticing them? Probably going to be a hard sell. Little to gain and the potential for a problem. Add that to the fact that they see the single guy who is in abundance, brings nothing they care for and you have the nuisance factor. Now, with us, a couple could also be problems. However, we are more tempted to risk it because of the rewards it could bring. more importantly, the rewards it could bring THAT WE WANT. With the single male, the rewards would be something we don't really care for so the risk of a problem is a negative. I don't care for a BMW. I'm a Mercedes man. You might say that both are made in Germany and quality vehicles, etc, etc. However, I might be willing to pay $40K for a Mercedes while a BMW of the same value might be worth only $30K to me. Or if my dad had nothing but trouble with BMWs and when I was young, so did I, it might be worth $5K to me.
