FNG ,but hey I get it... Really - - I am encouraging people who are really interested in this lifestyle to be genuine and courteous. I may be throwing some meet and greets as soon as I get a girl who will help me host. (parties a big work) but I got the house for it.
I would love to have a party every 60 days; so we, being a small and select few who really enjoy our lives to the fullest can have a setting that is open and not costly to meet folks who live near by and really want some genuine people to interact with.
I hope we can be as active as Utah seems to be. I have emailed a few of you here some no response, others great tips and genuine friendly advice. Remember it is not a party with out you.

I am not easily embarrassed but can be hurt. So a simple ignore or no thank you is what I would recommend. I am not expecting a love connection from any or all when I get an email or a network add just expect real genuine swingers who can commit and be courteous if and when I do throw a meet and greet. courtesy - dates and communication - When we started swinging there was no internet....not like today where it takes a few seconds to find someone you want to fuck and shoot off an email or a friend request. We had to find a magazine with ads for swingers (at an adult book store), write a letter, probably include a Polaroid pic with the letter and mail it and wait for a reply...which didn't always come. So I guess we kind of were conditioned to not really worry about it too much especially once internet swinging happened and it didn't take so much work to reach out. Now it takes so little effort to contact potential playmates that many people often spam out large numbers of emails in a shotgun approach or do the same with friend requests. We've, sadly, gotten to the point in our swinging career where we DON'T respond to blind friend requests or emails that are obviously sent to multiple people (no mention specifically of us or our profile). We used to respond but found that at least half the time we then got no response in return so we assumed the senders got a BBD (bigger, better deal) and were no longer interested. We really don't get our panties in a wad over it. I kind of look at it like an unsolicited spam email from someone wanting to clean my carpets. I really don't feel a great need to respond even though it would be the POLITE thing to do. Although I am seriously considering writing back to that Nigerian prince who wants to give me a million bucks. [em]Emo_67[/em]
That said, blowing someone off after making plans to meet is a douchecopter move and (barring a REALLY good excuse proffered in a timely manner) will quckly get someone on our permanent no fly list. Yup, we're assholes that way. [em]Emo_84[/em]
Affair Match - - Very well said Lusty... and many others of you... Its not a matter of judgementalism for I too fall on the perhaps wierdly mystical side that "everything is perfect, there is ultimately no "making right or wrong". However, thats not to say that we dont all have 'preferences'. It just seems wierd to attract cheating spouse lurkers to a dedicated swingers site. For the record, my opposition to this banner ad reflects my present desire to align myself with with open, honest swingers. In my past I have both been a cheater and played with cheaters. Short answer is because a large number of couples will not attend an event without some type of filter for single men, and without couples it's a non event. The reason why a large number of couples will not attend such an event are varied.
Now my question to you is... if you're such an asset why don't you just find a woman or couple to attend with you? Many single women in the LS prefer to attend an event escorted by a man for various reasons.
