Swingers - a couples only lifestyle? - Are singles considered to be swingers? - Then how would you define the men and women that are involved in the lifestyle that are married but thier signifigant others do not play? They are married,do you concider them "single" then?My wife got my into the Lifestyle about 8 years ago and then she passed away 4 years ago,does that mean now that i am "single" that i shouldnt be in the Lifestyle? Again, your experience is unique to you. It's been our experience that very few single men have been "pushy" or disrespectful. It's different for all of us and doesn't justify anyone trying to foil every single males swinging life by campaigning against them as a whole. Intolerance is never justified.
If you choose individually not to play with singles, then that is ok. We all have our preference. However, why try and bad mouth the entire group, in an attempt to demonize them to everyone else or to exclude them from social gatherings.
If you invite people that are interested in single males to your parties, it will even things out. I think a lot of it has to do with insecurity. I have yet to see a married woman fuck a single male at a party without the her and husband's consent.

Both are mostly urban legends. Trust me, people have been trying almost since day one to figure out a way to find other swingers out and about in the real world. Some have used the yin and yang symbol, some have used an apple with a bite taken out of it. The cold hard truth is that most swingers really don't want vanillas to know they're swingers and thus, wouldn't wear something that would easily "out" them in public as swingers. Don't you think, in this day of instantaneous communication and social media that if there was any kind of universally recognized symbol for swingers that it wouldn't soon become knowledge in the vanilla world? So for a married woman, not in a "relationship" to have sex with anyone, another single, randomly is not cheating but in a very broad sense, is in fact swinging. I would also say that one could also say that that person is dating.... regardless of the sexual connotations.
One thing to note here is that swinging has evolved to something more than recreational sex. It now has the connotation of friends or friendship involved. In fact, there are actually people who wish to have closed sexual relations with one or more couples. Exclusive in nature where each couple involved only has sex with their partner and with ONLY people who have agreed that they willl do the same...
So cheating is the only cut and dried issue... Non consensual sex with other than ones own partner of a committed relationship. The rest is either dating or swinging/swapping...
I'm sure we all knew this but it needs to be reiterated from time to time...
