Looking for Advice - Recently coming back into the LS - Hello!
So I just have a question.
We were in the LS about two years ago.. and since getting back into it, it seems like what we want is not as accepting ( or that we aren't actual swingers). We aren't a full swap couple and I feel like that hinders us from meeting new people and just getting out there.
While I enjoy watching my husband with other women, I have no desire to be with anyone other than my husband.
Is this weird? We have talked to a few couples who just question why were are in the LS at all. They have said that what we are looking for is a "tall order" or that "we aren't actual swingers" which I can understand to a point.. but isn't this site for people also looking to explore their sexuality in a safe place with no judgements?

Age - New to the swingers community - is age a factor in how a couple is viewed? - Age...hmmm.
I (Mr.) have a pretty wide range in age. I usually gravitate towards older rather than younger (yes, I'm attracted to older women rather than younger.)

How far are you willing to travel ? - - We've had kisses blown to us and I will generally answer with a note but have, as yet, not received our first answer. Most are quite far away and their profile, like yours says that you would like to be friends and hang out with as well as..... (Not exactly what you said but that's what I got out of your profile) If people are like us, we would travel up to 1 to 1.5 hours to meet or to play because that, to us, is a reasonable distance to have a friendship. If we were to meet someone at one of the clubs that we belong to, and became friends we might travel farther/further. If one believes that to travel a greater distance than would be practicle for friendship then that distance would set the limit. On the other hand, if a couple is out strictly for the sexual encounter and has no expectation or wish for friendship then maybe a stop over in a city on the other side of the country might not be out of the question...
If someone sends a kiss and the couple respond it would be nice if that couple would acknowledge receipt of a note. Just common courtesy. On another site we have been invited, by a number of folks, to stop by if we ever get in the area for drinks, dinner, play what have you,,,simply because we participate in forums and we may send a note about their profile or their pictures or both... Why is it so hard for peole to answer their mail??? - - Not having the time is a poor excuse. All the sites we have used offer a "canned" reply that is polite and straight forward. All it it takes is a click of the mouse. Don't think I have ever received a nasty gram from a no thank you email. When we first placed ads on swinger sites years ago, most emails were answered. Now that the net is popular and used by more and more people I suspect the precentage of ads from true swingers is smaller. I does make one wonder when you answer an ad with information that describes exactly what the couple is looking fot and don't get an answer???
