Polyamory - three (or more)-way RELATIONSHIPS - Hi all.... I'm writing this because Mr. Halfbaked and I finally found someone to swing with, and it turned into more...for ALL of us. Well, me and Mr, and the female half of this couple (long story, relationship was on the brink WAY before we got involved, and they broke up shortly after a few encounters). Thing was, I had already become VERY good friends with the female, and they had been a "play alone and together" couple, so we'd had threesomes with just him and just her, so we knew we liked being with just her. And my guy liked her a lot outside the bedroom, too. Anyway, long story short, we were talking and the subject of polyamory came up (not that we knew that word at the time), because he and i had developed feelings for her, and she'd developed feelings for us. So now, we are a love-triangle in a GOOD way. I am in love with him AND with her, and he is in love with her AND with me, and she is in love with me AND him. We're all in love with each other. So we just kind of made up these rules for our relationship...we have all-together time, and each couple within the triangle also has equal time with just the two. It's been almost a year now, and it's still going strong...We all live apart due to life/economic concerns, but we're thinking about combining households as we plan for this to be a permanent thing. We even want to have a "commitment ceremony" with the three of us, after Mr. Halfbaked and I legally tie the knot (he and she share the same last name, so after he and I get married, we'd all have it). The thing is, we have not found very many places to meet other people like ourselves, though we know they exist...We figured that maybe someone on HERE had some knowledge, either first- or second-hand, that they'd be willing to share. We realize that we're taking a chance outing ourselves on here....from the few people in the lifestyle we have told (we finally found a local club), that OUR lifestyle isn't necessarily welcomed. We figured it was worth it to put ourselves out there, since there are *very* few couples on here even close to local, so we wouldn't really be losing out on much. That said, if you're cool with sharing here on the forum, great. If not, and we totally understand, you could PM us...We're really just looking for other people like us....especially if they are swingers, because we still want to swing, too. Mr. and Misses Halfbaked...or maybe that's 3/4 now, lol ;-)

Odd pattern. - Why the interest/disinterest? - I'm not surprised to see mentions of homophobia and haste in filling out the profile as possible reasons; I hadn't thought of the male ego being so driven as to ignore disinterest from gay women. Yet that ego can't be reasoned w/ when the interested person's equipment matches the imagined ideal but the original birth certificate does not, even when reproduction is not on the table. As Terry pointed out above, every blastocyst starts out female and slightly less than half mutate into males as they become fetuses. AHARLEYCPL, not only is hate mail unwarranted, I'm personally pleased this discussion, for all its potential thorns, hasn't disintegrated into discriminatory ugliness like it would on some sites where the membership is more mainstream; I think it's b/c swingers already think outside the societal norms when it comes to expressing sexuality and have more of a 'live and let live if no one gets hurt' mentality. Being a swinger isn't about thoughtless sex, it's about even more thoughtful sex and this discussion shows that. :)

WAAA1101 & CLASSYNOTTRASHY, The Don

No one is telling you to leave. What we are saying is... If you don't like the subject of the thread, move on. You are claiming that it is impossible for you to accomplish this. Classy, you used the word "Forum Police". Remember, WAAA1101 is the one who started this thread trying to get everyone to stop posting threads that didn't have to do with sex. That is textbook "policing". Furthermore Classy, you, like WAAA, make it your regular business to complain about others and what they choose to converse about. I think things would get better if you quit complaining about threads you don't like and involve yourself in the ones you do. You are the ones being intolerant of us. We have heard that you are "unhappy" with the thread and why. To me, your unhappiness seems to stem from your inability to control what people talk about here. WAAA1101, you tell me if I don't like explicit photos to, "get over it". I do "get over it", by not going to the theads that contain them or starting them myself. I think you need to "get over" our threads. You need to practice what you preach. Live and let live. So far it is people like you and Classy that are breaking the forum policy, by trying to stifle free speech. You two are the ones that are trying to get others to stop talking. We are not going to stop talking about what we want, because you don't like it. The majority has spoken, we want to talk about anything we choose. You can't justify your intolerance.

FUCK going to the gym! - -
Uh...I was pretty much kidding people. I don't think firing up a fattie and listening to Pink Floyd is gonna replace the squat rack any time soon. Just thought the study was interesting because SO many people (well prolly not quite as many swingers) around these parts are so anti weed. All I know is that I've never been punched by somebody who was high on weed. Alcohol on the other hand...
I was about to say if you two look the way you do from being stoned constantly, then I'd quit the gym and subscribe to your methods ;)

becoming a poly couple - wanting another woman to join our family -
Prolly not a swingers site. There are actually poly communities on the internet where you can start exploring but be forewarned, a lot of polys abhor the notion of swinging almost as much as the vanilla world does.
HUH? Who the heck are you? The Evil that I know could not POSSIBLY let this post go without some kinda wise-crack or joke! IMPOSTOR I say, IMPOSTOR!

Swingers - a couples only lifestyle? - Are singles considered to be swingers? - The above comments are very interesting, and do promote thinking about how it all began. I grew up during the time when 'swapping' was just starting to catch hold. Swappers were married couples, and they did indeed swap partners. Single people were called 'swingers' at that time as they had many partners for sex. Basically singles did not have a steady relationhship with just one partner. An unmarried couple could be swingers, as they could go their separate ways at any time. A married couple did not easily have the option to go separate ways, so they remain swappers unless they got a divorce. Keep in mind that the two terms applied only to those that actively sought out new sex partners, and did not apply to the population in general. Over time, perhaps about 1965-1969, the word 'swapper' became a bit derogatory, so the married ones adopted the word 'swinger' as it seemed to be more lively and exciting sounding. Thus they moved into word usage territory of the singles. Today both singles and couples share the word. The meaning of words and their application change over time in the America language. As an example, the word 'Queer' changed to 'Fag' and later to 'Gay'. It took from about 1940 until about 1988 for the word 'queer' to evolve into 'gay'. It's still the same people, just a different word has been adopted that sounds more happy and exciting. To say a single man looking to get laid is not a swinger, but a single lady looking to get laid is a swinger is totally wrong. Both are either horney, or both are swingers. There can be no distinction between the two. So, where does that leave us? Today both singles and married couples share the word equally. That is, unless the American language is evolving again. Perhaps the word 'Humming Bird' (going from flower to flower for nectar) will become the singles new description.

Other activities? - Do you only meet swingers for sex? - With some of the folks we have met it was sex only and the relationships didn\'t last. The couples we have met with recently have also gotten with us for other activities. They have helped us put up Christmas lights, had dinner and done a lot of other things that don\'t revolve around sex. Of course we don\'t pass up on the sex either. :-)

flintstones swingers ? yes or no - - I have had people say I look like Fred. Any Bettys out there?

North Ogden Police - Need a fitness program - Dear EXPERIENCED_VIRGIN, It has EVERYTHING to do with this website. Who are YOU to decide who DUSTY finds attractive? As far as I know it's not illegal to have sex with chubby cops as long as you identify yourself as a swinger first...and no donuts change hands. Now if you're in Hawaii it's (for the moment) still 100% legal for cops to have sex with hookers and/or single male swingers. They're considering a law to change that. The hooker part anyway. As to the OP's question. I would encourage your buddies in blue to maybe try CrossFit or Zumba depending on what kind of workout wear is flattering to their individual physiques. Also, you could encourage them to order from the "Favorites Under 400" menu. Most of the items are still deep fried (yeah, like donuts) but they're only 400 calories (if you leave off the cheese, the sauce, the buns, and eat like half of it). They also serve salads at McDonalds. Watch those high fat salad dressings though. Best to just pour a little of your Diet Coke on the lettuce. And DUSTY, you go ahead and love who you want, when you want. Out and proud! [em]Emo_80[/em]
