Where are all the private parties? - where are the private parties. - hi there. We have also been looking for a party. If you look up kentcheney on this site, he may have some suggestions. We are very new at going to parties and so we may try a few meet and greets this weekend... plus we want to find some couples to talk to, who may have been to hedo11. We are thinking of going there, or a place like that, next Spring or Summer and want to get ideas on where to go, how they are, etc.. We also may be going to habits tonight. Another couple emailed us and said some swingers go there, and the club is having it's one year anniversary. We have never been there, however, we also have free time right now and decided to get out... we may even try the party that kentcheney is having this weekend - if we get our nerves to drop down a notch.. hope this helps M & D

Have you ever.... - - Thanks for the awesome stories! Glad to see so many good outcomes.. sad for the few not so wells... there is always a risk in New experiences even with those that deem themselves "swingers". :)

Dating other Couples - Have you done it? - Been there, done that, have the t-shirt. We know plenty of people who've done it, and done it successfully (up to a point), ourselves included. We don't know of many, if any, where it has lasted for more than a few years and didn't end somewhat badly. It CAN be quite heady and has the potential to take swinging to the next level. Unfortunately, it is also exponentially more likely to crank up the drama factor to eleven (out of ten). Quite often each couple has their own "agenda" (for lack of a better term) that is often at odds with the other couple's agenda. We've seen it frequently cause weird jealousies not only between primary partners but also between non-primary partners and in a few extreme notable cases it has ended marriages. In our case, we were relatively long-term swingers at that point who, although never really super active in the scene, felt like we'd checked off most of the things on our swinging bucket list and were somewhat curious if there was more out there to explore in swingerdom...or if we were sort of done with the scene. The couple we started "dating" wasn't really the kind of couple we usually were attracted to and maybe that was part of the allure. They also had a very interesting (to say the least) dynamic in their marriage that really was at odds with that in our relationship. Ultimately they kept pushing boundaries (started throwing the "L" word around and much more), pushed for more and more separate activities and were insidious in slowly and subtly causing rifts, both large and small, as well as a LOT of drama. We actually didn't even realize how much drama and subterfuge had occurred until we were finally out of the situation entirely. We actually miss them a little, at times, and often wonder if there might have been a way to talk things out and come to a better understanding of how to continue on in a healthier way but they've actually gone on to do exactly the same thing to a number of other couples we know (it's a small world in Utah swinging and word gets around) and it seems to be their pattern. Tldr; It can work. It's quite rare when it works long term. It has the potential for disaster. While it's appealing in many ways we don't really recommend it. YMMV

Expect more news reports like this one. - - What bullshit. They didn't once mention the fact that most swingers also routinely abuse their pet stuffed ferrets and burp loudly in public restaurants. The part about all swing parties being giant free-for-all barebacking masses of wet hot sex was pretty spot on, however. I'm just glad they didn't mention the wearing of metallic neon thong Speedos and dozens of gold chains cause that would totally "out" most of us swinger guys. Interesting they didn't once mention bisexuality. Of course we all know talk show hosts and relationship "experts" are raging carpet lickers. Evil

Swingers In Uniform - Pay your memorial day respects here. - WOOHOO, that was FUCKING well said tequila Good job and keep it up! We'll see you soon.;)

Only 12 couples within 100 miles on our search - Just using the search criterion of :non smoking, slim or athletic, 35-55, couples, soft swap yes, st - Well it is nice to get some intelligent on topic responses. Yes my original intent was unclear. I wanted to ask about the search function as so many times it seemed like I must be doing something wrong. I was frustrated at how you have to reenter all the parameters each time. And some of the parameters are different in search compared to what you can select in the profiles??? For instance in Soft swap in the profile you can respond with a yes, no, or maybe. Also how do you sort by excluding a yes in some parameter.? After playing with this feature I also noticed that some searches would get 2 pages of results and then I would go back and think I only changed one thing and get 20++ pages. The fact that I could NOT save the searches and be sure I just changed one parameter even though I thought I did was a pain as well. In all this I started to see some interesting trends that I was going to report on but by that time the thread had been hijacked. Originally I reported my search results for this specific search and the criterion I used solely for help in this matter and being so stupid not to realize that I offended Smokers, bi guys, and folks not average or less. Oh and I forgot folks under 35. I am surprised not all the folks who have been members over 365 days didn't throw stones too. I wont be starting another thread ever is the overall result of this. Whatever my intent was is not important now. I just want to say that we usually search and have met some folks outside of those original parameters and yes personality and many other factors can make the overall experience great. We don't have to call ourselves swingers and so many of you have made it clear in another caustic post like this that we do not qualify as swingers yet and shouldn't even be on this site. I agree. Have a good Life!

On Premise Swingers Club - SLC - I have attended lifestyle clubs in Vegas and Phoenix Arizona. Red Rooster once had trouble with the law over the building permits. The city made it tough on them but Mike and Chris got through the permit recertification. They also were able to prove that they accepted Donations at the door not a fee. And did offer food and had no serving Alcohol of their control. It was BYOA. In Phoenix Guys and Dolls kept the police out of their hair by creating a compound for vehicles. When the cops were there the gates would close and search warrents were needed. Thus just cause was a requirement. Also asked for Donations, had food serving. I recommend if you plan to start a club. Go to other cities and with contact to the establishment to talk to their attorney ask for help in educating how their system works. That would go a long way. Choose a good industrial area to organize and set up operations. Maybe a closed hotel could be the location, like Edgewater West in Oakland California. Wish you luck.

KUTV News Story on Swingers - News -

But why did they have to interview a FAT and bitter girl. If she was as hot and fun as most of the women are on here I'm sure she would've had more fun! LOL
Yeah, there's no such thing as a hot fat person, especially in the lifestyle! Oh, wait...there's hundreds, and they're having a blast w/ those people who don't care about body size or hotness, but about having fun and being satisfied.
I'm fat, but I am sexy as fuck and I know it! I am convinced her bad attitude (she didn't want to be there in the first place) is why she felt left out. News flash*** some people (like my husband) are not attracted to the girls who just go to the parties to get wasted. She would have been off his radar not because of her weight, but because she was getting drunk before playing. My hubby will not play with a woman who is not sober enough to consent to play (I'm sure it has something to do with his Southern Boy upbringing and the rules is our kink lifestyle--safe, sane, and consensual).

Do your friends and family know about your lifestyle? - - Here is our view..... Our sex life is private, what we choose to do within our sex lives is private also. We choose not to tell our family members because it is just none of their beez wax, it is personal, and private to us. Most ppl wouldn't understand it especially my family. Stitch's family, well....they probably wouldn't be shocked to hear it, but we still don't wanna share with them. We do have vanilla friends (not many though, we aren't social butterflies, we only make friends with swingers....lol) but we don't share with them our choice to swing. It's just a personal choice we have not to share. It isnt that we are ashamed or that we think this lifestyle is something to be ashamed of......we just think it is something best left between us. Just as what we do together in our own bedroom is private and personal so is our choice to swing. We are good friends with the ppl we work with, but they are all on a needta know basis, and they just don't needta know any of it. Our kids are to young right now, but as they get older we will just haveta be more careful. We dont' want them knowing about it either. There again, it just comes back to....I wouldn't share with my kids what dad and I did in our bedroom the night b4, so why would I share with them about our choice to swing. It is private and between us as a married couple.

Swingers dying out? - Is the utah swinger community dying or becoming to needy? - We agreed... swinging has greatly slowed down in the last few years, and it can still be fun, but not as fun and open minded as it used to be, We can see the point on the opening statement, and it you had been into swinging for longer of 5 years you need to admit the scene has changed, the events are more center on the money and getting more pricey over time, and it's not about the money to us and some comment we read that "if $30 to $50 is too much you have bigger problems" it s not the money but the value of the experience. We go on business to Vegas every other weekend and take the time and advantage of the opportunities there we spend 10 to 20 times the money we would spend here in Utah but it's worth it, i bet the events organizers here are great... all we are saying it's not like it use to be a few years back we miss those times...
