Why is it so hard for peole to answer their mail??? - - Not having the time is a poor excuse. All the sites we have used offer a "canned" reply that is polite and straight forward. All it it takes is a click of the mouse. Don't think I have ever received a nasty gram from a no thank you email. When we first placed ads on swinger sites years ago, most emails were answered. Now that the net is popular and used by more and more people I suspect the precentage of ads from true swingers is smaller. I think it depends on what you're looking to get out of swinging and what you value in a sexual experience. While I agree with some of your points I also know from experience that different partners/playmates can bring many different things to the table. I've been with women who were absolutely amazing kissers. I've met play partners who knew little sex "tricks" that had never occured to me or to my primary partner that we've been able to incorporate in our own play. I've been fortunate to have sex with women who brought an amazing level of enthusiasm and energy to our encounters. And, lastly, and perhaps even more important, I've met and played with women who I wasn't necessarily immediately attracted to but who I became VERY attracted to once I got to know them a little better and the sex was mind-blowing.
I've ultimately learned not to judge a book by it's cover. That physical attraction isn't necessarily the ENTIRE package. And that what makes a person a great sex partner sometimes transcends the purely physical. YMMV Ultimately you are likely get out of swinging more or less what you expect to get out of swinging. If you are less than thrilled at how other men compare to the physical criteria you've listed about your significant other then you probably won't really enjoy swinging all that much. Swingers at work... - - Yes it's fascinating, what kind of reaction you will get from people when you realize that you know them from some where else. I (male) had a similar experience on one of my many business trips. I was visiting a place far from home and was searching the local area as I do for someone to meet and try to find a tour guide of the local area. I have always figured why not be a swinger, because if we hit it off then everyone wins, new friends in different parts of the country. Anyway, I arrived at my business location and after about three days of working with this certain gentleman I notice A photo on his desk that was identical to one they had on their profile (different site mind you) now we had been working together for almost a week straight and he was a very nice man. So I pondered how I would suggest that I had seen the picture somewhere else, I figured that a nice little greeting card was the way to go. I politely wrote in the card, something along the lines of "I believe I have seen you and your wife on the site (bla, bla, bla,) and was interested in whether you two would like to spend sometime showing me the local area. Not once suggesting that we play. I gave him the card on a Friday, and I let it go for the weekend, hoping to chat with him and see what their reply would be. When I arrived at my work station on the following Monday I found out he called in sick, and had scheduled vacation for the rest of the week that I would still be there. I never did get any reply other then the cold shoulder. As I said it's very fascinating what kind of reactions you get from people.

We have heard about it many times........... - Couples that are swingers - Thanks for all the great advice. We still would love to hear more. In this specific situation we had talked about boundries and thought we all understood them. The first time the guy came and then kinda got wierd as my husband was still with his wife. That should have been a huge red flag for us. The next night they still wanted to hang out and confirmed with us they were cool with everything and how he is just shy. So we decided to give it another try. We thought the way he handled it was very rude and immature. Granted when things get started your feelings may change after you have already started but you should never just walk out. We would have understood and if he would have told us how he felt. We will take this as a learning experience and hope it doesn't happen again. Again, still open to more advice.....
